You came at the right time, the beginning of 2024 to start, if you have reached this board, of course you have explored the first board? yes the bitcoin and economy board? maybe you have friends or relations of fellow bitcoin holders or other cryptos who are active here? ah of course that's just a welcome friend, this way here you are free to choose the topic you like, if your context is included in the discussion, of course it will be replied to what you want, for example holding, buying, selling bitcoin or altcoins? yes there is a thread of predictions and observations together, happy adventurous.

We gather in one forum, different interests including you and me, if you are the same frequency in a thread, yes our thoughts are the same in interest. Nitmatilah this forum. for me this forum is better than adding knowledge and benefits, it would be very good and complementary if you like forums like social media or telegram groups. here all archives and topics are complete. if not there, of course you can share if you have it.

Hey Gio vanna, welcome to the forum. It seems that you are ready to enjoy a beautiful crypto journey since the very beginning of 2024! It is never too late and I think it is a great idea to enter the market this year (although nobody can tell for sure what will happen in terms of price, of course).

About locking the thread, it is true that some veteran members prefer to keep the forum tidy and that implies among other things the need to minimise the irrelevant discussions, but I guess that you can keep it open for a little longer before you do it. It won't harm, as we are in the Beginners & Help section, you are a beginner and we are trying to help you Wink

A little tip: I don't know where you are from, and the nickname doesn't mean anything (it looks like Italian, but Satoshi wasn't Japanese, and I am not Russian either); anyway, if your mother tongue is not English, you will find interesting that there are plenty of local boards where you can talk with people of the same nationality or at least language. Moreover, I have the impression that in most local boards they are more permissive with newbies, so it can be a great place to start from.

@Bitmarz checked your links but the first one took me to the homepage don't know why. As for the second already skimmed and have gotten a thing or two from it. Thanks for the link, by the way also checked the pinned messages on forum rules  Smiley
It's about the other interest that you've mentioned including altcoins because it is in general when it's about cryptocurrencies.

@Churchillvv I never knew Hi wasn't welcomed here. It's not like it was placed at the homepage as "Thou shalt not say Hi" but have heard you let me try and lock the thread. Sorry y'all for the hi and thanks for the welcome😩.
If you think that you're done with the help you're asking from other members here, that's the time you can lock this thread you've made. But if you've got questions, keep them coming and everyone is happy to help you out with all of the questions that are playing on your mind right now about cryptocurrencies or just Bitcoin. And if you just wanna explore more about the forum, you can start with the stickied threads or topics on this section of Beginners and Help.

It's not entirely about bitcoin if you ask me because some people discuss about other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and other altcoins but as you have said, this forum is created for because of bitcoin therefore it is about bitcoin in short. As i explained before that this forum can also be used to discuss different cryptocurrencies and other things that is related to crypto. Feel free to check different threads here in the forum to increase your knowledge about anything that is all about cryptocurrency and being secured and having privacy.

I welcome the OP to the forum, he'd find the forum to be very educative and unique in the sense that although it's a Bitcoin discussion forum, it also accommodates none Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency related topics. He'd find off topic, politics and society and economics sections to discuss enlightening topics to broaden his views. So far he can abide by the forum rules and focus on making quality contributions in topics, he's good to ranking up in the forum.

Oh,, hello Gio Vanna and welcome to Bitcointalkforum.
Like the name implies, it’s Bitcoin and talk, which implies, we are here mainly to discuss about Bitcoin but it as well accommodates other coins as well as, it’s directed towards its designated board. Yeah that’s right, board. The forum has been carefully by designed separated to boards with regards to what it could accommodate. Hence, some discussions are best fit to some boards than the other.

Do well to acquaint yourself with the rules as this is a body guided by one. It’s normal but, the rules are enforced with some strict adherence here.

Meanwhile, don’t be scared to ask questions as well as tell us what you know to exists within the cryptospace and the world around you. It’s what the forum is about and with that, I say welcome to you once more.
