hi Bitcointalk,
i would love it if someone could help me out, i recently decided to start a mining rig
i was looking to run 5 Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X Rev 2.0 3GB GDDR5 (GV-R928XOC-3GD REV 2.0)

on this motherboard MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Socket 1150 Intel Z87 Chipset
i recently just got 9 x16 pic-e to x1 risers

and i was wondering if that motherboard would be able to handle 5 cards, or even 6. I've seen another video of someone who was running 5 290x's in one gigabyte motherboard.

if i can't do this do you guys have any recommendations on which motherboard i can use to run the 5 280xs?

really going with this because its got some good performance for a really good price, eventually i will want to have 3-4 of these rigs (so 20 cards in total) Smiley
Also what operating system should i use, and do i just use a external HD for the operating system?

Thanks a lot if anyone decides to help, ill be here posting!

Oh ya this is for Litecoin mining!
