I bought an ASUS 7970 back in July 1st to replace my ageing XFX 6870 since I got tired of its loud fan.   I used to do seti@home and folding@home few years ago so I was wondering what to do with my new powerful video card and then I discovered Bitcoin GPU mining.  Since then I have recruited my other ATI GPU's, my old 6870, an even older 5670, and on a 7790 on my test computer at work Smiley     Then I discovered the USB BE's and now I've got 8 of those running on my firewall box which is an ancient VIA Epia ITX motherboard running Debian.  I 've also gone the other way into unprofitableness and installed pooler cpu miner on everything from Xeon E5's to a Raspberry Pi, just to see how it works!   These forums have helped me a lot with setting these things up and optimizing, etc...  Anyway, I recently made my first BTC few days ago!  I know I probably wont make any money but learning how everything works is just a lot of fun.
