Matthew,

I added some of my radio shows (The Hillbilly Yank Show) to Archive.org. Some of the shows are under Creative Commons. The other ones can only be broadcast on radio because of the songs (copyrights) I played during the show.

Anyway, this show has Pappy and Billy Bob in it talking about the Pappy Dog & Chicken Lips.

I was just reading it. Good thing I don't write for a living.

Pink ... I got a new name Wink I do things like that all the time. The fingers are faster than the mind or something like that. I just call it personal code you read it, you'll know what it means I hope.

Matthew, That is great your magazine is in Barnes & Noble.

Starting September! Looking forward to getting a sample of your voice acting! It's one of my favorite jobs.

WTF?  Barnes and Noble?  Will each store have, like, two copies on the shelf or...?

edit:  hello pappy.

Yes. Each store will have exactly 2 issues.  Roll Eyes

Thanks All, Think I'll pull up a chair and have a few  Wink

One thing I noticed the forum is busy and a lot of information on here. Think I'm in information overload, Been reading the messages. Do this, no do that. So I don't know what I'm doing now. Oh well learn as I go, I guess. The one thing I do know is, set BitCoin up on another PC, Laptop etc. and only connect when needed. Bet I ask a dumb question or two LOL... What is it they say, "The only dumb question is, the one you don't ask". I know search before asking and I've been doing that. So far no newbie questions.

Best thing to do to get started in the Bitcoin community and start being an informed, productive and popular person?

  • Get some bitcoins -- BitInstant.com would probably be the fastest, but I'd also recommend using BitStamp.com if you want to go the typical exchange way.
  • Get the magazine -- (http://subscribe.bitcoinmagazine.net) It has everything you need to know to become a pro at Bitcoin in no time and keep up on all the good news. http://bitcoinmagazine.net has some online articles as well.

Hello Folks,
My name is Bill but everyone calls me Pappy. Let’s see, I am a writer, producer, voice over artists, song writer, music promoter, director, and my wife calls me a few things I won’t post.  Wink  I wrote and produced a radio show called The Hillbilly Yank Show I did most of the voices for it, if you search you’ll find it. Just so you know it’s about two hillbillies that have no idea what their doing, when operating a radio station more or less. Recorded to sound bad and that I did a good job at. I also write and produce skits (comedy style), wrote Pappy’s Linghtn’ Dew or Pappy’s Lighting Dew for the show (another story). I also work with a band called Opus 23, I help Carol the co-founder write songs.  I know enough about building web sites PHP, HTML, CSS etc. to get myself into trouble, I also like making graphics.

I found BitCoin the other night and I thought it was one of the coolest things I’ve found on the net.  I think it’s great the people are putting trust in something other than money or what ever you want to call it backed by nothing.  I know most countries just print it and say “Here you go“ take our paper it’s backed by nothing.

I keep telling my wife our money isn’t worth anything, only the cost of the paper and ink that’s on it. She thinks I’m nut’s, maybe I am.    Roll Eyes

Pappy
