Yeah, nobody in his right mind would decide to wipe out the whole population of a country, but the thing is, Putin is not a sane person currently. But we are not afraid. With your support we will kill all his zombies here on our land. Good conquers evil. I really believe in that.

So, we don't need a ride. We need ammo. And you are giving it to us.  Thank you.

you recognize the genocide on the donbassians yet by your corrupt nazi regime?

you have to recognize the genocide and hand over zelinski, like nazi germans if you defend him it will get even bloodier.

Don't listen Russian propaganda only. Hear what the whole world is saying, for a change.

Oh, you have an amazing reputation here, @KingScorpio

To all my fellow Ukranians on the forum and the OP, I want to say to stay strong,
I believe you are all strong people in a very difficult position.

To be honest, I used to blame US for provoking Russia over the years that made the application of Ukraine to be part of the NATO become the last straw for Russia. But seeing how things are already, Russia is looking more and more like a bully. Ukraine has every right to choose for it's own. It is a free country and should not be dictated to do things like this or that. War should be the last thing to happen nowadays. This is just madness. What amazes me though are Ukrainians like you, I even heard people from overseas really went back to your country to help defend it and your president himself not backing down and escaping despite being offered to, instead he asked for ammunition. Stay strong sir, along all the Ukrainian people, most of all keep safe. I don't know if you believe in religion or not but I have been oraying and will surely continue to pray for Ukraine and for the leaders involved with all these to be enlightened enough to make decisions that won't have to lead to more conflicts.

I criticized the US for provoking Russia through its acceptance of Ukraine into NATO, thus being the last straw. The US and NATO allies are the main perpetrators of this disarray. All Ukrainians deserve my deepest sympathy, but I consider Russia not only the enemy or the reason for this invasion. It's pretty intriguing that most Russians in media interviews say that they invaded Ukraine to prove that they were doing the right thing. However, I don't totally agree with them. For Russia, their primary concern is security whereas Ukraine wants to join NATO to ensure their long-term existence as they continue to be treated by Russia. The solution is quite complicated.

NATO's expansion over the years is coming to a head now and unfortunately Ukraine
is taking the brunt of it.

I can understand Ukraine's request to join NATO, I believe they were seeking future
protection from Russia, I would say there was a feeling that Russia would not
stand for so long without reacting to being surrounded by NATO bases.

Ukraine and Russia produce about 30% of the global Wheat, 50% of the oil and Gas
used in Europe comes from Russia and they produce massive amounts of Fertilizer,
I would have thought that using these commodities as leverage would have been a
better road than invading another country?

I feel sorry for primarily Ukraine and also Russians who are opposed to this and
all who will suffer the consequences for many years both in rebuilding their country
and economies.

Oh you're in Kyiv, stay safe there. So how's the situation now? Did they gave you guns? If they did, did they even trained you? It'll be great if you have a social media account to update people. Maybe you can get additional followers from here so that the account could get bumped up or something in the algorithm.

I am also from Kyiv and I can give some update about the situation, even though I know this question was not addressed to me. We have created a territorial defense, which received weapons and protects the city at the boarders. These people are very supportive of a professional army. Such associations are established in almost every settlement, they directly protect the places where they live. Russia did not expect such confrontation from civilians, so their plan to capture Ukraine in 3 days can be thrown away. In Kyiv, the consequences of missile and bomb strikes are noticeable, which are not inflicted on military strategic infrastructure, but on civilian facilities and residential buildings. This is done in order to cause panic and force people to beg for an end to the war by any means. But we hold on and do not plan to give up! With Ukraine in heart!

That's great to hear. The citizen watch is indeed important since there's also a possibility they got sleeper agents there that might conduct some sort of guerrilla operation or sabotage utilities.

They picked the wrong people to mess with, destroying houses is just gonna anger civilians even more. May all remain safe there.

For Russia, their primary concern is security whereas Ukraine wants to join NATO to ensure their long-term existence as they continue to be treated by Russia. The solution is quite complicated.

By that logic, Russia should express its concern about all the neighboring countries that have joined NATO. Latvia and Estonia are members of NATO. They have a direct border with Russia. Lithuania and Poland are members of NATO. Formally, they have a border with Belarus, in fact - with Russia, because the independence of Belarus can be read only on paper. Why have these countries not become a field of blackmail and "concern" on the part of Russia? Maybe because they are protected better? While Ukraine has long been considered a gray zone where global world conflicts can be resolved.

Those countries don't have a Nazi problem overrun with goons, thugs and not out of control corruption.

I must first sympathize with your current situation, and i do hope you and your family come out of this unscathed, and your nation will definitely see better days sometime soon. It is really sad that this whole situation degenerated to this, Putin is prolly doing this cause he isn't in the war front, and his life isn't at risk. War is never a solution or should not be seen as a last resort, diplomacy/peaceful resolution would always be the best, cause in the end it does not matter who wins in a war, both parties would still suffer casualties, and those victims are someone's father, mother, brother, sister etc, who would forever live with the pain and regret that someone they love lost their life in a needless war centered on one man's (Putin) pride/ego.

Ukrainian Woman Conducts Live Interview on French TV: “Zelensky Is A Puppet Leader”

Here’s the transcript of the conversation, provided by The COVID World:

“Victoria was asked by one of the hosts:

“Victoria, you are Ukrainian, but you have been living here [in France] for 25 years. As we know, you keep in touch with your relatives in Kiev. Did they manage to escape?”

She firmly answered:

“No, of course not – they didn’t even think about running away.

I returned to France four days ago. Nobody believed that there would be a war. But there were rumors and people started to run. However, the root of all troubles must be sought in 2014. Nearly two million Ukrainians live in appalling conditions. Heating bills are getting more expensive than ever, and wages are miserable… So, people spend half their salary on utility bills. In general, life is hard. So I think: why should we support this puppet president and his government?

I’m talking about the current president, and not the one that Putin will seat if he wants to. They write on the Internet that it is hard for Ukrainians now, and this is true. The authorities are constantly changing, the economy is in a tailspin, corruption is everywhere.”

Confused by Victoria’s remarks, the French hosts asked if she was talking about Putin or Zelensky. However, she confirmed she was speaking about the current Ukrainian president.

“Are you talking about Zelensky?”

Victoria:

“Yes, yes, about whom else.”

Moderator:

“So the democratically elected President Zelensky is really a puppet?”

Victoria:

“Yes, and it’s not democratic at all. He took and banned four opposition channels. Journalists disappear all the time. They say that Russian journalists are generally killed, but Ukrainian ones too. There have been many such cases in recent years. In general, everythiNG is complicated, but they don’t talk about it – to no avail.”

Moderator:

“Wait, let me finish. Here you are Ukrainian and have lived in both countries, in Ukraine and in France. That is, it seems to you that the West idealizes Ukraine? Are you saying that the situation is not as simple as they say in the West: a ferocious Russian bear against a full-fledged Ukrainian democracy?”

Victoria:

“Yes, everything is much more complicated. The situation is far from black and white.”

Seriously, what is the reason that you chose this woman? Why not talk about women in Kherson who were raped by Russian soldiers? And that only 5 of them survived?

https://www.polskieradio.pl/395/7785/Artykul/2913606,Russian-soldiers-raping-women-in-Ukraine-report

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10579847/Russian-soldiers-raping-women-occupied-territory-Ukraines-foreign-minister-claims.html

I am not surprised.

Their grand grandfathers did the same thing in pretty much every village/city in Ukraine and Germany during WWII.  I personally interviewed
people who witnessed it.  Young women were using soot and dirt to blacken their faces, cut their hair to look ugly.
Some pretended to be boys.

Russian soldiers are fucking animals. They rob, rape, kill civilians, and bomb indiscriminately.

Slava Ukraini!!!  Death to invaders.

As Betwrong said, "Putin is not a sane person currently" I support this I watch a video on Youtube today where he make an angry statement that NATO has no right to kill Gaddafi despite all his mistakes, killing, and other habits that he's just a human and he ought to be giving a chance.
I ask myself, then why did he (Putin) attack Ukraine for his own political ambition. I further said those he know what he's saying or just seeking attention.

I pray that the God Lord protect you guys and all the Ukrainians.

why is putin not sane? is he supposed the genocide in the donbass region indefinately?

If there was genocide in Doanbass, he was supposed to go to the UN and the ICC with documented proof.

Not to try to exterminate the whole nation.

Stop repeating Kremlin lies.
If the Donbass region issue was the reason for Putin's action then he didn't do it in the right way and as af_newbie said he ought to do legal documentation and present it to the UN.
Now most of the world don't know about the Donbass issue, I am saying because I am earing it for the first time and I am sure there will be some people who are also not aware of it.

Hello from Kyiv, Ukraine...Hola.

All the positive energy for you and your people, there is no logical sense that can explain any war, as there was not for the courageous attitude of the Ukrainian people, perhaps the whole world is surprised, as well as the international experts who anticipated a surrender in days, but not for you who have shown courage and patriotism as the main weapon.

Forgive me if I say more of the same, but stay safe.

"Victoria, who was born in Ukraine but has been living in France for 25 years, elaborated during an interview on French TV show Brunet & Cie."

A women has been living in France for 25 years. Yeah, she definetely knows a loooot about current life in Ukraine with Zelensky as the President.

"He's banned 4 opposition TV channels, there were also journalists who disappeared"

Russian channels, on which they pushed Russian political puppets and broadcast the bullshit that is shown on Russian television. It was clearing the ether from crap. And those so-called journalists did not disappear. They went back to Russia, now continuing to engage in information distortion.

Everything else does not even make sense to comment.

Indeed. I have been believing the wrong things for a while and sure is not a good feeling finding out that I was fooled by how the news are twisted to favor the Russian government. This just goes to show that information is very vital for everyone and with just twisting a few facts, anyone can mislead the masses which is a very huge disadvantage for the ones being lied to specially the ones being wronged. It seems we can never really trust the news we read anywhere nowadays without researching and confirming for ourselves the facts. Leaves a bad taste but at least I realized that people saying media is manipulated isn't just a simple conspiracy.

Russians are always know to for the wrong thing's, I hate the level the aggression, the hate, and the invasion, nobody praise for such this is against humanity. But I see the Russians do not just fight for nothing,I have asked myself this question several occasions, why ? Why imvade Ukraine ?
Could it be they posses Oil as well and he doesn't want them to drill ?, maybe they don't want a military base at Ukraine. Yea Putin is stubborn but not stupid, he has a good reason for doing so.
The invasion has gone to a large extent, hugely causing harm and destruction, my prayers have been with the Ukrainians a very long time right from the scratch. Everything simply getting worst no signs of improvement already!

Glad to hear that even though you're in a tough situation. I admire you people of Ukraine that you're standing strong and firm with what you're defending for, yes not fighting for because what you're doing is just defending your freedom and nation from the attack of Russia. Keep safe and even we're far in reality yet united on this forum and we're having the same feeling in the heart that just as you've said, the whole world is with you guys.

Ukraine nation is amazing and how they stand against occupant. Like people standing in front of tank without any weapons or civilians droppin Molotov cocktails to it.I don't understand how you can be so strong. I'm sitting here in Lithuania, but this war touched me very hard emotionally - I think about it all day and I feel such powerless because I can't help you. Like your President said, after Ukraine we would be next. I don't even know what to say to you guys. Just stay safe, strong and don't give up!

...

you recognize the genocide on the donbassians yet by your corrupt nazi regime?

you have to recognize the genocide and hand over zelinski, like nazi germans if you defend him it will get even bloodier.

You have to recognize your arguments and propaganda are unbelievable, you have to recognize this war is all about Putin's personal ambitions, you have to start calling for peace.

during donbass genocide 14000 people died no one listened to russian peace calls
[/quote]

Keep repeating the figure, keep repeating the argument. Perhaps you cannot even write here that this is a war without going to prison.

Hello my friends,

Sorry for not posting lately. I live in Kyiv, Ukraine right now, and if you google it, here's what you'll see

or something similar, and I just want to tell you that it's not photoshop, or whatever.

Also, what you can see in this video by CNN

is what is actually going on, more or less.

Yesterday, our President said in his address to the nation : "At first all of us were equally afraid. Later all of us were equally in pain. And now it's all the same for us all. The only thing we need is victory." Meaning, we just don't give a fuck how many more heavy missiles they launch at us, and how many more troops they send. We will defend our freedom. We will defend our free choice to live in union with Western democratic countries, and not with a big country frightened by a miserable dictator and his oprichniks.

And you know what's funny? There's no panic among people around here. Not a bit. Yesterday, standing in the long line to a food store, I was so happy to see that people were just smiling, joking on how long it will take to putin-huilo to kill himself and stuff. 🙂

In short, Don't worry about us, friends. We are ok here, and we know that we will win because the whole civilized world is on our side. 141 countries condemning Russia’s invasion in the U.N. General Assembly is very good news for us here. And Thank you, guys, for your support before the Assembly. We feel it in the form of food, electricity, internet and, of course, in the form of advanced weaponry, without which it would be harder for us to survive.

Thank you.

Stay strong pal. I hope you get through this alive and independent.

I don't know if you also have SM but it would be a nice way to update people of the situation there - and more importantly, add a face to the resistance. Show the daily grind of the civilians fighting to keep their homes. Just be careful of what you post to avoid compromising operations.

Yes, you can think of it like how China props up NoKor in fear that with unification it'll have to share a border with a US ally but joining whatever organization they want is also within Ukraine's right as a sovereign state. That Russia have been supporting those rebels in Crimea and Donbas (ethnic Russians who, if you do a quick search, you'd know how they got there) to undermine Ukrainian sovereignty also don't make them any saint, despite whatever "just war" casus belli they give.
