Hello @ all,

I am new to bitcoins and this forum, i do have some question :

Can i sell Virtual Goods? Or is that not allowed?

I plan to sell stuff that cost from 1$ to 100$ there is 1 important question can i ask to use escrow even for 1$?

I know so much scams and this is why i try to protect me.

welcome my friend! the other members have seemed to answer your questions pretty well. Thats one thing about bitcoin is that there are tons of scammer and everyone of them want any bitcoin amount they can get. Thats great you seem fully aware and active in protecting yourself from wrongdoing. throughout your bitcoin journey dont let your guard down. Even longtime users get scammed every now and then. Keep high standards when it comes to your bitcoins. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Welcome to Bitcointalk.org!

Sure, go to the Marketplace section (either Bitcoin or Altcoin Marketplace section) and go to digital goods. There you could sell almost any legal digital stuff. But read the section rules before.

If you want to sell the virtual goods here, it's allowed but the prices you may be offered would be very low. I have tried reddit in the past and you can also check that forum to sell your gift cards for bitcoins. Escrow will be the safest option here since you are a newbie.

About the escrow i think that you should try to contact the escrows but for 1$ it takes lots of time for escrows and you but good luck.

Welcome to bitcointalk!

I suggest you to read all the important forum rules to know what you can do and what u can't. Also if you want to trade, make a sales thread and always use escrow to prevent being scammed, only use the big 4 escrows, those are very reputable and won't scam for small transactions( I hope).

Good luck and be aware of scammers that will try to scam you. Don't fall for stupid excuses.

For sure if i see that the member is trusted i will going first or is there still a chance to get scammed?
better you use escrow. how if that trusted account got hack and he deal with your goods.
People lose their money because wont pay 1% to escrow, better lose 1% than 100%.

Think again, And good luck bro

selling stuff in here is perfectly normal and allowed check their sections: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0 as long as what you sell is not illegal

also other legal issues like taxes is something that you need to pay attention due to your countries laws.

and since your account is new, you should always use escrow. and for $1 you can send the good first if the person is trusted

It would depend on who is that person and how much are you trading for. The "trust" rating should only be used as a guideline and do refer to the reference and the amount risked for trade between the users. However, if you are trading for a high amount, do use an escrow unless the other party is extremely trusted. There were cases in which the user scammed out of desperation or temptation. The escrow should, preferably be one of the big 5 [1].

How would you know if a member is trusted considering you're a newbie ? Yes the green marks below the profile could be used as a reference! If you have a legit service, you can always use one escrow for all your trades. The rank doesn't matter, meaning a Sr.Member is as good as a Full member if they don't have any green marks or very good untrusted feedbacks(you can open a profile and check their feedback).Prevent skype invites, most of the scammers use skype or other messaging system for scam attempts.

Yes it's possible to sell virtual goods on the "Digital goods" section & Yes you can use an escrow for a simple 1$ as an amount however I can't tell you if people are going to accept to escrow this transaction since it's small amounts .
