Thanks guys for the warm welcome. As for why Dogecoin? Well, it is purely speculative but based on a lot of hype and publicity behind it which in turn could make it go viral driving up the price. At least I hope that.

I just wanted to say hello to the forum and greetings from Ontario, Canada.
I look forward to reading about Bitcoin here and learning about this valuable cryptocurrency. I just started collecting crypto recently so I was a bit late to get started with Bitcoin but I hope to make that up over time.
I mainly collect Bitcoin and Litecoin but I speculate on some other alt-coins such as Dogecoin.
Also, I'd like to wish everybody a safe and Happy Holiday Season.
