That's pretty cool that, that worked out for you ^

I was curious... does anyone know the reputability of BC Changer or any of the members on there with coins for sale?
I know a lot of them have paypal listed. I looked through Local Bitcoins but most people use OKPay or Western Union or something along those lines. Eventually I will probably have to sign up for one of those to be able to get any currency out, but for now I'm just looking to buy some coins with the money I do have.

We are in phase that makes it hard to get bitcoins easily in th US. But it has been much, much worse. I bought my first coins for .74 by sending cash in the mail to a person I knew only by their internet name. And to a phony address in another country.  My wife was like, "goodbye money". lol, but it all worked out.

I have to say I think this is the most friendly forum I've been on ever xD
Thank you all for the welcoming Smiley

I know PayPal is unsecure, but at this point in time that's all I have to go off of :\
I saw bitcoindigi mention something about amazon.com gifts and SEPA? Don't really know anything about those but if they're easier to use, and more reliable I'd gladly learn.

Oh! I'm based out of the US by the way.
Sucks that they make it so hard to get into Bitcoins over here from what I've been reading :\

Welcome!

Paypal is too unsecure, I'd recommend you to go with amazon.com gifts or SEPA. Just check localbitcoins.com for accepted payment methods to get an idea :O)

Well.. I've known about bitcoins for several years. Probably since almost when they came out.
Anyway, got into them for a little but never really went anywhere with it. So.
After a couple years has gone by and I see how much drastically different the market is I decided to get into Bitcoins a little more seriously than I did before.
There are so many things that draw me to them. The entire way the concept works in function. Yes it has fluctuation in value but at the same time it is continually growing.
My current initial goal to start out?
Purchase atleast 14BTC  via PayPal and an Escrow service.
I have no complaints with using Escrow at all.
I guess what I'm meaning there is Hello, how are you all doing? Would anybody be able to point me in the nearest direction of a reputable purveyor of BTC via Paypal with Escrow?
Or if you really wanted to, either A ) Sell me the coins yourself with Escrow, or B ) Help me figure out how to switch out of paypal for something more acceptee.
I understand PayPal is not very popular, but it's the only thing I have to do payments right now.
Anyway if you have any questions of any kind just let me knowww
