Nice catch on the driver issue, I hadn't used drivers newer than 16.x so hadn't seen that before.  Still not a Windows issue, hah.   Wink

Yep, uninstall and run DDU (google), then install 16.9.2, and you'll be good to go. Also for anyone else finding this, if you are running RX 500 series, you can take the 16.9.2 files from 16.9.2\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF\B30#### and copy them into the 17.4.3 extracted drivers 17.4.3\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF\B31####, confirming file overwrite, and run the setup.exe for 17.4.3 with the modified files.

Contrary to what the other guy is saying, this is a very well known issue with the newest AMD drivers causing a BSOD right at the 6th card assuming the bluescreen is "ATTEMPTING EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY". If this is the boat you're in and you're not using any RX 500 series, you can simply install Catalyst 16.9.2 after running DDU

Yes it is this error message!

Ok so I have to uninstall Catalyst 17.x and use Catalyst 16.9.2 ?

Yes I have swapped the Risers with other GPU and they are all working. I can run GPUs 1/2/3/4/5 or in combination 1/3/4/5/6 and there are no problems.

It's not an issue with Windows 10.  Most likely related to your motherboard / video card combination, riser issue or power issue.  Have you swapped the riser with other known good?

I have the ASRock Z270 Extreme 4 mobo and I connect all my GPUs with powered Risers. I use Asus Strix 8 GB RX480 cards. Connecting 5 GPUs is no problem, but when I add GPU_6 its all over. I cannot boot into Windows 10 without bluescreen. Using system restore point (which Windows offers me to do) I can see all 6 cards with default drivers in devices overview. Trying to install Catalyst 17.x is not working anymore. Have to remove GPU_6, reinstall GPU drivers and all is ok with my 5 GPUs. Changing Risers and GPUs is not the solution.

So do I need a special hack to let Windows 10 use 6 GPUs ?
