You can hire 'talented' people, such as bounty managers and teams to eliminate the role of bots. But you have to understand how your token/coin will work. Do you have the trust of the people who support your cryptocurrency?

The most basic thing is to have a good idea, The tokens/coins that you create must have a vision and mission as well as goals that are beneficial to society. And most importantly you will need a lot of spare money to help fund your project.

If it's not there yet, Don't even think about starting a bounty program.

Are there some kind of cases or distinctive criteria to stay away from this kind of fraud?
If you want to do a Bounty project just do it, hire the best manager here, fraud is none of your business there are no bots predicting fraud, the important thing is that you don't cheat on participants and managers.

There are a few things I would like to ask the OP about, about scams.
• Which part, do you mean: (case and criteria) fraud.
Fraudsters are many paths they can take in the Bounty program, about what and what part do you mean.

Bot are very common in telegram bounty and twitter also duplicate and fake accounts are very hard to determine you can check the entry form one by one to filter duplicates even if you hire bounty manager this is not assurance that bots will be eliminated.
you are right, bot is not going do anything meaningful, see i like those Managers that run their campaign with manual, and the problem is that in bounty so manager do not have the time to scrutinized their participants before selecting.

I also suggest to limit the bounty participants to avoid spamming, less participants who can do the job effectively is better than hiring many.
Even though they have least of participants they will still spam, some people usually adventure into spamming unknowingly due to its way their establish theyself in the forum from the day one (1) they join community.

Maybe participants also use bots in the process of working on bounty tasks, you only need to add special tasks that are impossible for bots to do, such as random tasks for each participant.

This is correct. Try to require participants to do tasks which could not be done by bots. But I don't think it is possible for the bounty program to provide a random task to each participant. That would be too hard of a task for the manager. Imagine how many hundreds of participants there will be in a Twitter campaign, for example.

So I guess choose the right campaigns and implement the right rules. A signature campaign, for example, could not be abused by bots. In a Twitter campaign, for example, you don't just require to retweet each tweet from your official account. Make every participant make a tweet while retweeting. The same is true with Facebook. And then you will also have blog and video campaigns which are also impossible to be abused by bots.

If you are new enough and going to hold a bounty program, I suggest you hire a Bounty Manager who is trusted and has a good reputation here.
There are some Bounty Managers that are very recommended. And you can choose the BM also based on the payment.
Just also decide which payment you are using for the bounty hunters, your own coon/token, or payment using BTC or other listed cryptocurrencies.
Commonly, the reputable Bounty Managers have understood how to analyze and also avoid many bounty cheaters, although it may not be clear 100%, at least, it will really help you to identify the cheaters or bounty abuse.

The OP has already created an advertisement for the search for a manager for the bounty programs. But also, if you want to have real living people and not robots, invite participants who have at least 1-2 merits to participate in your bounty.
Thus, you will protect yourself from the participation of multi-accounts, which, as you know, do not allocate enough effort and time for normal advertising of projects.

Hi everyone
We are getting ready to start a bounty-program.
We`ve heard a lot about that in such programs are mainly used bots.
Are there some kind of cases or distinctive criteria to stay away from this kind of fraud?
Hired a great manager the one who has experience on handling altcoins. Cause possibly you are launching an altcoin isn't it? Or you gonna launch a service app or platform for trial, which you could accommodate also on payment via btc. Bots are only used on telegram and maybe some twitter, but an experience community manager can handle it easily. Feel free to contact or post a hiring in the service section.

It's quite simple. Just avoid carrying out the bounty unless if you want part of the community to have some of your tokens or coins while you are launching your project (adoption)

The bitter truth very few people will tell you is that bounties are no longer an effective way of advertising after bots and spammers infested the field. Just spend a little more on other forms of advertisements for your project than use a bunch of worthless social media spammers.

Are you talking about bots that join on Bounty program or bots to automate the bounty program?

If the above is right then hiring a bounty manager is the best option but take note of those bounty managers.
I suggest you check this link below for anti-spam bounty manager to avoid bots joining into your bounty program.

How about hiring a reputable bounty manager and just letting them handle your bounty program.  Because they know how to avoid fraud from the bounty hunters.  Speaking of using bot which bounty program do you mean?  AFAIK, that's very common in the Telegram communities that they use a bunch of telegram bots to increase their number of users which is easy to be faked.

If you're the one who handles your bounty program, I may advise you to seek expert bounty managers and ask for tips on how they avoid such kind of fraud.

Good luck with your project.

If you hire a bounty manager, then it's their job to eliminate the bots. You shouldn't think about that.
The only bots used for the bounty program as far as I know are massive signup and report submission bots. But I have shared a way at least to avoid it, check it out here.

Maybe participants also use bots in the process of working on bounty tasks, you only need to add special tasks that are impossible for bots to do, such as random tasks for each participant.
