When you make a transaction in bitcoin

1. Go to portfolio and click on bitcoin
2. scroll down to 'history' and find the transaction you made
3. click on the transaction and then go to 'view on block explorer'
4. This page will show 'Transaction Hash:" and there you will see your txid. you can automatically copy it to your clipboard by clicking on the icon that looks like two pages.

Thanks for the response. The problem Im having is the transaction dosent show up for sometimes a week or longer. Its all just blank till then. You would think they would have this better figured out if their trying to encourage people to use BTC for purchases. Another thing is no way to reach out to them. Endless cycle of automated response text that goes nowhere.

Hopefully the members helped answer your question, I recommend getting a trezor or Ledger and avoid coinbase as much as possible for everything in the future

Just search for the receiver address on a block explorer. Your transaction should show on that. Copy the txID and forward on Smiley

This has happened to me as well with recent Txns, use a block explorer and reverse engineer the transaction yourself.

Hi,
Ive been using coinbase for awhile to send and receive crypto. Ive been having this issue of not being able to get the TX id number. Sometimes it takes up to a week for coinbase to add number on the site. As you all know sometimes this number is needed for the seller to confirm purchase. Am I missing something? is there an easier way to find these numbers after you send?
Thanks in advance for any info,
Dane
