UPDATE:

If you would like to make a donation, but decided not to as there was absolutely nothing in it for you.
Well I have solved that. I used a site called Booster and created T-Shirts that I hope you guys (and gals) will like. It is non-specific to this event, meaning you can wear it anywhere any time. I am still working on it, but I would appreciate your feedback before I launch it. Please comment if you would like a different logo, slogan, or any tweaks in the design or wording on the page.

Hello, my name is James and I am a senior at the local high school.

I have been interested in bitcoin for about a year now, and have only recently been able to truely join in on the experience, as I have not been able to purchase it until I heard about Virwox.

As such, I believe more people my age should learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, as well as have a better understanding of economics. I have talked to my friends about this and they are interested about bitcoin, but unable to participate due to inability to purchase any.

I have come up with an idea to directly educate my peers about bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, investment, and economics in general.

The plan is as follows:

I am in good standing with many of the history and economics teachers at my school, I believe if I offer to them a plan to teach in a new and unique way, they will certainly agree to it. School starts back up in exactly one week ( August 12, 2014 ) and I hope to be able to offer this to them in the first week of school so that they can plan accordingly. If funds are not received at that time, it is ok. The fundraiser will stay up throughout the full school year and if first trimester classes don't get the opportunity then second trimester classes will.
I would like to offer the teachers enough bitcoin to pay 0.005 to each of their students (in accounts held by the teacher or myself, but watched by the students with blockchain.info or similar site) so that they can watch as the price raises and falls over the time of a trimester. I could offer projects for the teachers to give the students, such as calculating the percentage in change and making predictions as to what their final outcomes could be. Once the trimester is complete, each student will receive a paper wallet with instructions on how to use it and receive the bitcoins they have.

On average, classes at my school have 30 students in the. There are 5 class periods per day. I have two teachers who I believe can acurately teach this and would do so with enjoyment. This equals a total of 300 students. If I do not receive the full amount necessariy, I have a specific teacher of these two who will receive the payment. All donations will go to the classes, and eventually the students. If there are any students who simply refuse to accept the bitcoin I will hold onto it for another project such as this.

I beleive this plan will not only help educate my peers in bitcoin, but also economics as a whole. During the process I will urge the teachers and students to come onto this thread and become more involved with the community.

The following are my requirements:

1) The bitcoin to distribute to the students.

1.5 BTC is required for each student to have 0.005 BTC
1 BTC can be acceptable, with a lower rate given to each student.

2) Ideas on assignments to give the teachers.

I have some ideas myself, as previously stated, but I have learned in the past that asking a community of enthusiasts almost always gets      rewarded with better ideas.
