I'd be more than happy to give him his first merit so he can rank up....
I hope so, however, I am also confused by the OP ... because he was registered in 2017, and currently he has 10 posts, I don't know, So far, where has he been.

Maybe he's not that focus on posting in this forum. Looking at his posts in their local board in 2017, it seems he's talking about a mining rig so maybe he's been busy at that and maybe he's been busy with his work?

Reading this thread made my day, TBH.

But what is clear is that if he does something special I also want to reward him with an achievement.
Hopefully he doesn't run away and continues to have good post quality.

Your knowledge is appreciated here, you can easily find Merit.
I looked at OP's post history, and there's nothing there yet that's worth meriting IMO.  I'd be more than happy to give him his first merit so he can rank up....but he's got to make a good post first.  That's just me, though.  Anyone else could give him a charity merit and I don't think there would be too much of an uproar.

I whitelisted you. Not sure how many PMs that allows you though. Maybe Junior Member levels. Maybe report back on how many it gives you so we know for future.
That was very nice of you.  Boy, how the mood around here has improved in the last year or so.  Questions like OP's would have been greeted with open hostility not so long ago.

OP, if you haven't earned any merits in a week or so (assuming you're making posts), drop me a PM and I'll take a look at what you've written and give out merits accordingly.

I figure you’ve seen the PM limits per Activity block, to get a general idea of how they change as you post:

ActivityMax recipientsMax recipients if whitelistedMax PMs per hourMax PMs per hour if whitelistedMax PMs per dayMax PMs per day if whitelisted
02101402120
15310104015120
30510104030120
1007142080150600
25015301201203001200
500303012012012001200

You are automatically whitelisted if you buy a copper membership. You don't need to wear the copper membership, just own it. You can also be whitelisted for free by any staff member and a few non-staff, but we're going to need some reason to think that you actually deserve it. Do not ask me for free whitelisting.

Whitelisting is a not a license to spam. You will be immediately banned if you're found spamming, even if you bought a copper membership (and you will not be refunded).
You could also, as per the above post, ask a staff member to whitelist you, but I don’t recall seeing any such petitions over the past couple of years, at least none that were made public. Nevertheless, the motive needs to be well supported, as the objective of these limits is to avoid people spaming PMs (which, indecently, can lead one to be reported and banned.

There are so many topics on Merits, that it's impossible not to find a bunch simply by browsing or using the forum's search (which may take a little while to master properly). Regardless, PM limits depend on Activity, not on Merits.

You have to wait till you become Jr Member which requiees 30 activity and 1 merit at least. Either bear with that limit and wait for your account to upgrade or purchase copper membership simply.
