Nobody can tell you what it's worth unless they are willing to pay for it. Domains are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If you want to sell it, try digitalpoint forums or list it on Flippa.

This is true.   If you are interested in selling you have to find an interested party.

A domain is worth as much as the person is willing to give  for it! I would give much for it since it doesnt makes any sense to me, the only thing why that domain could have value for me in this point is that it would receive typo traffic from people mistyping btcjam.com.. but good luck anyway!

edit: PS: check my sig. Wink

There is a btcjam.com though don't forget! people are going crazy for these kind of domains registering them none stop! surely it is worth more due to it's shortness and including btc Smiley

Regardless, I will be building a brand and building some sales history for the next year or two and then selling as a whole business to include the supplier information, profit and loss accounts, tax documents, trademark certificate, hosting and domain!

Price will depend on annual turn-over and speed of growth Smiley

If you're the owner of the domain, then you obviously have a reason that you bought it that other people haven't surmised yet. Meaning that it can be an excellent site if you develop it according to your vision.

Having said that, the outside observer w/o this vision in their mind has to evaluate the domain itself on more objective measures. One simple question: "Is this domain worth more than the reg fee?" can be fairly accurately gauged by looking at domain popularity. Since btcjem.com is not registered in any other extension (.org / .net etc.), we can make an educated guess that the domain is only worth the registration fee.

"jem" is not a word (in any of the languages that I speak anyway)  so I would say it doesn't worth much, probably nothing unless you develop some good website on it then it might gain value in a year or so

Actually "jem" is a word but its definition is not good at all.. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/JEM

I'm planning to make the name "btcjem" a trademark and register it as a limited company, then pay tax when transferring from bitcoin to fiat! Which is something I have to look into..

But the site has gotten a lot of attention over the last 5 day's and it is starting to gain a lot of content, If I am going to sell it will be the business as a whole!

I have a few other domain names in the works coming soon that I cannot say until they're fully registered but one of them will literally be worth at least $150,000 just because of the name alone Smiley

Not very much at present
That said, the shortness of the domain will help if you operationalise the site

It looks like it is already being used. Is it yours? http://www.btcjem.com/

It certainly is! I'm going to be selling gemstones for bitcoin with it, but would be nice to know if it is a valuable domain Smiley
