You can try to have Electrum connect manually to some server in the provided list. Electrum does not need open ports, it simply polls the server for updates, so it's firewall friendly.

If all else fails, you can allways use another wallet like blockchain.info or Multibit to spend the bitcoins, by taking the corresponding private key and importing it into the other wallet.

hi everybody and thanks for your quick answers

i tried but it doesnt work

this is the firewall. i'm in my office in a business center.
the firewall preventes me form ping. i cannot ping electrum.datemas.de

i'll see two options now :
1 - contact the network administrator and ask him to autorize me to connect to this server
2 - : install electrum on another computer : do you think it's possible?
new installation in another computer and get back my btc?
with my seed.

thks

thanks for your answer

i wil try to be as precise as possible

i use electrum 1.9.5. for me the connections settings are in network (window tools)

i use the auto connect (to connect to server). i am on windows 7. i have a firewall and i desactive it to test.

i made all you advices : change to another mode : protocol https, http, tcp, ssl and nothing happens
i test with proxy : none, socks4; socks5 and http and nothing happens

i restart at everytime electrum and nothing happens, always no connected to servers

please help me i dont know what to do

Try to proceed as follows:
- NO auto-connect, NO proxy.
- select electrum.datemas.de, default port (it's 50002 I believe)
- close and re-open electrum -> it should connect within 2 seconds

Go to the connections setting and try to change it to another mode.
E.g. tcp, https, ssl.
Also try to restart the client.

From my experiences one of the above will work.
