you didn't need an account, that part is new and i believe it is for their users who have bought a mining contract in their service (cloud mining i believe).
and don't read too much into that pop up thing about "Bitcoin Core + Blockstream", it is mostly drama. and only one side of the story.

and now your transaction is confirmed Wink

Hey pooya87. Thx very much!! Just as you mentioned....it was confirmed in about 50 minutes. Man oh man. After waiting for over four days...and this only took less than an hour.

I learned a lot today though.

Question: you were saying that it's mostly drama, and one sided in regards to the Bitcoin Core/Blockstream subject....so where might I go to get a good balanced perspective on what is happening in the crypto currency world??

the time was because they only accept 100 transactions per hour and the current round is full (submission beyond limit) so you'll have to wait for the next round which will start in 10 minutes (9 min 15 seconds from this comment's timestamp)  Wink

edit: i successfully submitted your transaction Grin
now all you have to do is wait until ViaBTC finds a block, it may take an hour.

Hey there pooya87. Thank you so much.

FYI....i did go to ViaBTC and read up and opened an account and thought that I had also submitted my transaction right about the time limit you had mentioned. It said: "Acceleration Succeeded" and then underneath said: Your remaining Customer-Only use: 0 Times. Not sure what that was about.

I will say I've been learning a ton about Bitcoin and some of the  "Bitcoin Core + Blockstream” Bitcoin development team issues.

If this transaction FINALLY does go through....I'll not only be ecstatic....but I will certainly help by donating to the cause of helping grow and not stifle this crypto economy. It's not only fascinating, but needed!

for now use https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ to try and accelerate your transaction. if you do it exactly in 29 minutes from creating this post you can get it through their service.

also (take a backup from your seed if you don't have it already) and upgrade your wallet to the latest version. next time try to use the fee slider to include a higher more appropriate fee that the wallet suggests.

Hi...thx for the feedback. I'm now reading about the viabtc transactional accelerator. Bit of a learning curve....

Not sure about the "exactly in 29 minutes" and what that is about. I'll see what I can do in that time. Thx for all the help/input.

I'm using electrum 2.6.4 and i'm not sure if I should update my wallet first. Or should I do the child pay for parent.

Please update to Electrum 2.8.2 as it includes bug fixes with how dynamic fees are handled. Older versions can still send incorrectly sized fees with dynamic fees enabled. Upgrading should solve this problem for future transactions.

Hi there. Four days ago I sent 1.2556 btc from electrum to an exchange. I paid dynamic fees of 150% which I've always done. I've been using this for the past year, and it's always worked. The fee was BTC - 60.01 sat/B. The size was 190 bytes. I'm understanding now that i've paid way too little this time.

The transaction ID is a33ab55ff5aeabfb43b6c77fc34797f83cdfa671721fb6042519af032301637b

I've been doing as much reading in the forum to try and understand what I can do, but I'm not sure the best route. I'm using electrum 2.6.4 and i'm not sure if I should update my wallet first. Or should I do the child pay for parent.

I do control the address 33t1X9iChVBLQA9NkMTjWgxzfXwguZ9ufu

So bottom line: I'm not sure what to focus on and how to move this forward. Please help. Any input would be great so that I can push my fee way up to make this transaction verified. thx
