Additional information about Exchanges.

Exchanges Research Platform | Coinpaprika

Quote
Adjusted Volume - Volume from spot markets with percentage fee type (excluding markets with no fees, transaction mining, and other trading incentives).
Reported Volume - Total volume we are getting directly from exchanges through their API without interference. It’s usually bigger than adjusted volume.
Reported Volume Liquidity - This tab shows comparison between reported volume by exchanges and real liquidity based on order books.

You can use this as an alternative of coinmarketcap, I found very coinpaprika very informative since it has 3 types of volume listed, adjusted, reported volume, reported volume liquidity.

With this, you can easily compare exchanges' volume, especially the Reported Volume Liquidity, it is based on the order books. You can use this to identify some exchanges' volume, I don't know if this kind of volume liquidity, we can identify an exchange that using fake volumes.

I agree that crypto lovers should not expand their lists of sites (on news, exchanges, ratings on ICOs, IEOs, or whatever) too much, because basically the more sites they visit, the more news they read, they will have more traps and risks that might beat them sometimes. There are so many fake news, and phising sites around. Coinmarketcap.com is the most important site to visit and get official links of projects (sites, forum, exchange lists, and others).
On coinmarketcap.com, there are two options to see exchange rankings:
- Top 100 by Adjusted volume.
- Top 100 by Reported volume.

* Adjusted Volume - Volume from spot markets excluding markets with no fees and transaction mining

If someone want to move further, I suggest this one: https://messari.io/onchainfx
The site gives you some interesting indicators, basically it looks like this below image, but you can customise a few indicators you need.

Sorry for the incovenience because I am unable to display images, for now.

Someone puts an effort to create that kind of thread:

Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!

Other related threads are purely discussion so I won't link it here.

I don't know if there is such a thread with all available cryptocurrency exchanges, because is not needed and there are multiple web pages to check this.

Would be impossible to maintain such a thread taking into consideration how fast the amount is changing. Don't mention to update all links to be always accurate. Mission impossible.

Most known from a very long time is Coinmarketcap.com where you will find all exchanges with all additional info like: links, volumes, listed cryptocurrencies, rankings and many more.
