Good Evening,

I hope someone can help,  Have signed up with Bittrex and Enhanced Verified with them,  Been using Changelly but there rates are way too expensive and was recommended to sign with Bittrex.

Can I ask how do I actually add funds in EUR/USD/GBP or other methods,  I am looking to purchase around 2000 XRP and 2000 NEM and 1000 GNT as long term investment and looking to buy and then transfer to my hard wallet.

Can someone advise how do I actually add money in Bittrex as can't see any option to add USD/GBP or other currencies there.

Again sorry for being stupid.

Thanks

A late reply but fellow Brits can buy bitcoins cheaper.

1. Download and install money exchange/transfer app called Revolut
2. Top it up via your bank account/debit card (no fees)
3. In Revolut exchange your £s to Euros (you'll get the best exchange rate, no fees pay to except over weekends)
4. From Revolut send your Euros to an exchange, e.g. GDAX (1.5% fee) or Bitstamp (1%) and buy your bitcoins/altcoins

This is the cheapest method I know of unless someone can show a better method.

Hope that helps.

AFAIK Bittrex doesn't allow deposits on EUR/USD/GBP.

You could buy Bitcoin using an exchange that does like Coinbase/Kraken/Bitfinex, sending your Bitcoins to Bittrex and then doing your trades between BTC/Altcoins.

Evening TryNinja,

Thanks for your reply,  Just created account with Coinbase and will purchase some Bitcoins now.  I guess this will still work out cheaper than Changelly?  Would have been easier if Bittrex supported these methods as it seems a long process,  Open Account with Coinbase and transfer Bitcoin then change Bitcoin to XRP/XEM and then transfer to wallet -- Lot of steps involved.

actually it's not really long to do it,
how about local exchanger ? it would be better if you're buying it from your Local exchanger.
More safe and reliable other than international exchanger, but so far nothing wrong with coinbase.
actually there're a lot of exchanger supporting Fiat, but lately those exchanger doing a shady activity so it would be better if you're following his suggestion.
so far,the fastest way to do it is on kraken. But it's up to you

Buy on CoinBase,Kraken -> Send to Bittrex

after you send it into your wallet,it'll just take a sec time to do a trade into XRP/XEM on Bittrex.

Most important thing is not how to make it easy, the most important thing is how to send it safe and sound
