I just wanted to note that LocalBitcoins.com feature a trusted (private) deals. These deals are visible to you after the trader has confirmed your user account as a trusted party. Usually trusted deals come with no limit, becase there are less risks which you might have when trading with unknown parties on SEPA transfers.

If we can get a few dozen traders posting ads here we can easily double the volume currently available. Once people see 5-10.000 € on the bid/ask at these levels, they will feel much more confident in trading in between these support/resistance buffers.
If you already have an MtGox or Bitstamp account... it's only a few minutes work to have a few of your bitcoins on sale at Localbitcoins.com as well... and if the big exchanges get their bank accounts blocked, you will have this great backup.
However localbitcoins is of very little use if you can't ever buy/sell more than a few hundred €/$ on it.
(obviously US bitcoiners should try to do the same for https://localbitcoins.com/buy-bitcoins-online/us/united-states/ and https://localbitcoins.com/sell-bitcoins-online/us/united-states/ )

I really like Localbitcoins, it works really well when buying/selling through SEPA bank transfers, and there are no long delays to receive bank transfers as can happen with the big exchanges. However trade volume is still tiny compared to MtGox or Bitstamp, so that buying/selling even medium amounts of BTC can be tiresome.
For example, this was the Localbitcoins orderbook today for SEPA bank transfers:

Too small, right? Specially compared to this:

So we are trying to get more people to post ads here to help this market reach critical mass. Once there are a few hundred buy/sell ads the market will be much more useful and will then just continue to grow organically.
How can you help? Simple just do the following:
1. If you don't have a localbitcoins account, get one.
2. Make a few small trades to get a decent reputation (5-10)
3. Post a buy ad at 40€/BTC and a sell ad at 120€/BTC.
*Don't post your buy/sell ads using the mtgox equation, but just do them at a fixed price (advanced options --> Price equation = 40/120)
