I'm really frustrated and trying to get this thing working for the past 12 hours nonstop.  Sorry for the sarcasm.

Regardless, if you don't know anything about linux, then you have nothing to add.  If you do, then you would know what I'm talking about.  Pleas help.

Seems like I need a httpd package installed, but the httpd package is dependent on another httpd package, which in turn is dependent on 10 other packages, and so forth and so forth.

I'm sure someone knows how to do this w/o individually installing 100 different things via the command line.

I know it's 2 dashes.

I know it's 2 dashes.  it doesn't change the fact that I still need to recompile bfgminer.

the web browser in linux blows as well, it's slow and freezes all the time, and I can't even login to the forums or check gmail...

The only thing that works so far is I got my GPU's to mine at 720kh... but I still need my proxy working on the rig.  Without a proxy, I'm limited to choosing between LTC or BTC, and cannot run both due to network/power restrictions.

So I need this proxy running on the machine.

Can anyone just give me a link to a WORKING BAMT image?  all the "official" once don't work properly (all missing something, no support for anything)

Also, I now have a "No GPU's are Configured" error, and NONE of the BAMT tools will work.  I know my GPU's are mining in the background, but no windows, no stats, NOTHING.  BAMT config file is correct, didn't touch it and it worked before.  cgminer conf file has the correct ports in it for the apt...   HuhHuh no idea what to do with this thing.

I'm offering 1LTC to anyone who can directly help me solve these 2 problems...  Preferably with just an image file.

Thanks

Two dashes, not one.

So my other thread got moved to the wrong section, when it was here in the correct section...

I am asking for info on how to install bfgminer as a proxy for my BITCOIN mining machines on a linux box.  I am a complete noob to linux, and I'm running BAMT 1.2.  I somehow got through installing hash_??? and somethig called jasson?  and compiled bfgminer.  However, the -http-port option doesn't work.  Now I find that I need to install more things into this POS linux box program, recompile bfgminer, and hope that it works...

Then I have to find out how to make it ruin on startup...

Can someone please help me? just point me to a download of a [program that'll install ALL of it...   I don't really get why I have to pick and chose every little tiny thing that I want to install, when I can just install everything.  Can I do that?  This is so frustrating...

Okay, so how do I install bfgminer as a proxy in linux? can someone give me step by stop instructions, or let me know where I can download an already compiled version?
