I have your Bitcoin Wallet for quite a while. If it offered PIN and/or TFA protection, there would be no need for me to look further.

A spendig PIN is now implemented, since version 4.06 (October).

OK, what's a good lite wallet for a phone, that will allow me to enter a private key for a vanity address?

Have you looked at MyCelium?

Did you read OP? He already has Mycelium.  Tongue

Anyway i use green address and its not bad, haven't been using it for long but seem to do all i need for a hot wallet.
Looking on 99bitcoins website earlier and they said it did rely on some 3rd party servers so you may want to double check that if it is a major concern to you.

Have you looked at MyCelium?

Been using it for quite a while now and so far the best from the few I tested. Their HD version is also due in the near future. There is a test version of the HD version out which you can look at.

Security I believe is up to scratch for a mobile wallet and it offers many features others do not. Give it a look, in my opinion one of the best mobile wallets for Android.

The Android lockscreen has a vunerable window of time shortly after usage that can theoretically be exploited in the case of physical theft. It's unlikely, but I always prepare for the worst.

Since you posted in the Bitcoin Wallet group: Bitcoin Wallet for Android supports encrypted Backups and is very decentralized, but doesn't have TFA or PIN protection yet. PIN protection is planned. For now you can set the Android lockscreen and encrypt your filesystem if you're concerned about thieves. This would also protect other data on your phone.

I'm currently using Mycelium as my mobile wallet, and so far the user-end experience is smooth and flawless, but because it uses a centralized service by default, I have to trust them to not hide or simulate payment. Honest and altruistic they may be, this really defeats the purpose of bitcoin, so on to the next wallet...

The wallet must at least meet the below requirements:

1. Encrypted Backup - The ability to generate encrypted backup, 'nuff said.

2. Decentralization - Must use the Bitcoin Network, and not a third-party server that directs traffic to aforementioned network.

3. Security - Must offer security measures such as PIN and/or TFA to spend money. I would assume that if my phone is stolen, that such measures would afford me time to take my coins out via encrypted backup.

So far, Green Address and Hive seems to have met the above requirements. Any argument for/against one or the other?

Thank you ahead of time.
