because of that he should change the name of the topic and the first post as no one reads anything else besides those, in such way people would see that it has ended already

Never use dot net domain names they are very cheap and low quality domain names. always go for dot com domain names

OP gave us three options to discuss which one we consider is the most eye attractive and even exposed to what we should be attention at but at the very end he completely chose something completely else. So he flushed our opinions down the toilet.

Poor choice of name IMHO, nothing related with gambling.

So 44% vote went to bitsharp, no surprise for me there. That is a very good choice imo. Short catchy words like this are often the best names for services and new domains.
Now I wait to see how this site will be doing and if bitsharp name will bring popularity with it.

Among all available choices we have i go for www.bitsharp.net. Don't know but it reminds me to bitstamp, which stands for reliable and strong crypto exchange.

I know that it's not in your options, only in the poll but I core for bitcoin-betting-guide.com.. it's the best domain name just for your website. Everyone knows when he go if he see the domain name, so it's really easy, however, the name is long and you should make something like this but not that long.. think about it

I am joking about ignoring the votes, when we made the pole we had not had the idea of www.bitedge.co but the votes and feedback in this forum did contribute greatly to the decision. It told us that a change to a short memorable name was favoured and that .com is not a must. We also heard that "sharp" is slightly too niche and even those in the target audience might not get it.

I think the original name is better and gives perfect meaning for your site.

I voted to keep it the same.  The new name options both end up with folks referring to it in short hand as BS.  BBG is way better than BS.  If anything, maybe you could just shorten up or add an alt link that is simply BBG.  Good luck with your site in the future. 

in my opinion bitsharp is way better as it is really easy to pronounce and easy to understand you should go with it

Yeah, I like that name... Bitshark, or even BitcoinShark if it was a Poker site  . It would be perfect!

As for the 2 options I would go for the Bitsharp

Just voted and I prefer Bitsharp, but wouldn't Bitshark be more ralated to gambling.
Maybe this is because I play poker (although I like betting to), but normally, at least in poker, we call a good player a "shark".

Anyway if you really prefer the "sharp" term, I would definitely go for the shorter one (bitsharp) because it's easier to remember.

Whatever you choose, more people need to know about your site, it's by far the best resource around for BTC sportsbetting reviews and information.

Your content is excellent, would be great to have a place for people to discuss it - have you thought about starting a thread like Peeps Place's one?

If I were you, I'd go for BitSharp.Net.

I don't really know much about SEO, but wouldn't changing your site URL mean you have to start from scratch? And it looks like bitcoin-betting-guide.com is ranking pretty well? Again, I don't know much about SEO, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

the word gambit has been already taken www.gambit.com using it might cause people to think that the two sites have a relation to each other. So it is better to use another name for it

You have to keep in mind what your website is really for and that is exactly what your first name was/is bitcoin betting guide, it might not sound that cool but bitsharp for example doesnt say anything about your site, the sharp doesnt say anything about it and i would associate it more with an exchange so you may want to think of other names.

Bitsharp is more cool & looks easy to remember than Bitcoin Sharp or Bitcoin Betting Guide
But, it could better if you keep using .com domain

Why not shortened your existing name as bitbetguide.com for example, I think its a better idea. But bitcoinsharp is also an ideal name if you like it.

Being non-technical it has sometimes been frustrating and expensive to get the Bitcoin Betting Guide where it is but overall I love working on it. It took me 30 years to find something I am good at and even then it only worked because of bitcoin

About the name I am now paralyzed by indecision, I did not want to lay it all out at the start incase it affected the votes but this was how I saw the pros and cons of each choice. And all the feedback I have gotten has been variations on these items, except one person said they like www.bitsharp.net becasue it is more versitile in an uncertain future, so if Etherium or dash take over it could still be used. I note that most people voting for no change are already past visitors and a rebranding is more about, new, future, visitors.

bitcoin-betting-guide.com original and old name good to keep that one but after this bitcoinsharp is looking nice so better first you make announcement at old site about this changes and put a link which redirect to this new link than it will be easy for users to keep accessing to new site without any confusion.

I'd go with Bitsharp, it's nice small and catchy, although the preivous name of your site describes what it is about much better but it is too long and when it comes to domain names small and names which are easy to remember are usually better ones.

@OP before you rebrand your site, you need to change your layout as well. It is not browser friendly. A crappy responsive layout is being used. In smaller browser, menu is getting broken and coming in double line.

Site dashes is not good, exact match does not work like before. Google has already updated its algo.

It's good for SEO and for a visitor easily reflects the website's goal.
Obviously keep the other domains as redirect.

I also say that keep the current name and other both names bitsharp and bitcoinsharp add these as sub domain which redirect to the existing name, which is familiar among the most players who are visiting you site on regularly to check about the status of gambling there.

BitcoinSharp is more good than other names, i have voted for this name.

I will say keep the existing name and add one extra to domain which to redirect the bitcoinsharp to existing one.This way you can reach to new users while keep the existing users by providing them hassle free access to the site.I watched at some site you can access using two three different urls.I don't have idea how it really works but it id practiced by some sites.

The only disadvantage about the current name is that its a bit long. Anybody who saw the bitcoin-betting-guide.com url would know what to expect from that site though. I personally wouldn't know what to expect from a site called bitsharp or bitcoinsharp which may make me now wanna visit it. So I'd say keep it the way it is unless you find a shorter URL that's also self-explanatory.(maybe try to get bitcoinbettingguide.com without the dashes if that isn't taken yet)

You already have very good name what suits to your work.I don't think you need to change it ,keep continue with existing name and try to make the site more attractive by different ways i.e promotions and marketing.This is cool site and I like it how it is.

I vote to stick with the name you currently have.  It seems with these types of websites it is best to stick with a title that is easy to remember and search engines pick up easily on it.  Plus, it is free.
