Buy as many 1070ti or 1080ti as you can afford
I’d recommend getting a server psu also if you go the 1080 option for future expansion

Hey all I been wanting to get into gpu mining but I'm lost on what to buy I want to spend max $5000 so if anyone could tell me a list of items I will need from newegg it would be greatly appreciated

Are you familiar with the components needed to put together a general-use desktop? If not, I suggest you start your research there. Then you can look at the adjustments that are typical of a dedicated GPU-based mining rig (you'll find plenty of information for beginners using the search function).

Do your own research before throwing money into mining.
