It's hard setting it up in ubuntu, if you're a novice user. You can use PIA VPN beta app:

Hey guys, I'm looking to set up a VPN on Ubuntu 14 04

Very similar to Hotspot Shield on Windows

I wish to use a Virtual Private Network to redirect all outgoing connections to another IP, which can be useful in preventing IP leaks when surfing the internet through TOR.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ

** Before "helping", you must make sure I'm willing to transact based on the information you supply (If I cannot get the VPN to work on my computer because of the instructions you gave me, sorry, I can't afford to pay because of a limited budget)

** You must provide proper means of trade (A valid Bitcoin address, none of that miniaddress crap please)

** The VPN service must not be paid, it needs to be free

Edit, forgot to write this before:

** For multiple solutions, I will select the first helpful one
