Hi guys,

hopefully someone can help me - I'm wasting my third evening:
I bought 10 used EBANG Ebit E9+ miners. Some of them can be found using their tool EbiteMinerMini - but some not. Its about half/half.
I read abaout capturing ARP by wireshark but no success. The miner seems to be dead, even the green light is steady and the red one is flashing.
I've one miner that starts hashing and reboots immediately  Huh

They were configured by static IP and seemed no to be reset to DHCP also.

Pic of their previouse configuration:

I found it with their tool even I'm on 192.168.1.x

I will not believe half of their hashboards are broken. I guess there was a problem with batch flashing new firmware or something. Could this be?
Contact EBANG support but no answer till now.

I tried:
  • AngryIPScanner @ 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255 and 10.27.2.0 to 10.27.3.0 - took to long and I believe the miner would not have answered it anyways
  • Wireshark
  • EbiteMinerMini
  • Default IP 192.168.80.140
  • setting up my old ASUS Router
Questions:
  • Is there a way to reflash their boards without ethernet access?
  • Can it be they are on different subnet and EbiteMinerMini can't find them?
  • Any tool to reach them at their MAC?

If someone can lead me to a solution I'm willing to send over such a (hopefully working) miner afterwards.

Thanks for any hint!
