I have many friends with vacuum robots and the most satisfied are from Xiaomi. The prices are decent not like IRobot or something and the results are clearly better !
Check them in their website.

Only if you good furniture arrangement in your flat/house. I have a mopping robot and a robot vacuum cleaner. They both are good only when you are at the home and have a big home. That mopping bastard needs every have a mop replaced every hour, while I can clean same are within 5 minutes with regular mop. Robot vacuum cleaner is the one that annoys me most. Countless times I have started him and went to work, just to find out that he got stuck under the sofa few minutes after the start.

Get rid of your sofa!  Grin

I don't know, Roomba is perfect for me. It is programmed to activate when no one is at home and returns to its base on its own. All I have to do on a regular basis is empty the dirt bin. I've never used a mopping robot, so I don't know what it's like, but I believe you, constantly cleaning a mop can be a hassle.

Hi guys,

Okay so I've been dealing with a problem. I have furry dogs around the house and they leave balls of their furs around the house especially on the carpet. I have a robot vacuum that is not really effective for the furs. So now I am looking at ilife and roomba models as I've read somewhere that they are effective against dog furs on carpets. There is this article that I just ran into (https://www.robotvacuumarea.com/ilife-vs-roomba/) which they made a comparison on both. Can you suggest anything? Huh Huh Huh

we have been using Xiaomi Roborock S50 for around 1 year. It is really doing awesome job at work. We do not need to use vacuum cleaner so often. Roborock periodically take the dust on the floor and carpets.

I have my doubts about robot vacuums and dogs.
I once heard a story of someone whose dog pooped on the carpet, and his Roomba, well, let's just say it didn't help running to and fro. Roll Eyes

Other than that, pets and robot vacuums are awesome.

They are for light maintenance, like collecting the dust particles that settle on floor every day. Not much power needed for that. For really dusty carpets the industrial grade ones are required. Two different usage cases.

I never had much luck with robot vacuums. Hard to beat a Dyson when it comes to suction power.

Even the simplest robot is useful to clean the dust. But they are prone to tangling into shoelaces, getting stuck near carpets and pulling electrical wires. Maybe the more advanced ones are not so dumb anymore.

I own a few robot vacuum cleaners and I absolutely love them. Surely, it doesn't clean as well as, say, your wife  Wink, it can do at least 80-90% as well.
But here's a catch: since it's autonomous, you'll probably use it every day. So the 10% it missed today, it will get tomorrow. Besides, scheduled vacuuming (while we're at work and the kids at school) made my apartment much cleaner than it would otherwise be. I still need to vacuum (with a classic vacuum cleaner and/or mop) once in a while, but for 'regular maintenance' cleaning, these little bots work.

Get married. Wife is better than any robot for domestic chores.

I can think of a few other things where wives are better than any vacuum cleaner...  Grin
Don't bother your wife with the household chores. Buy her a robot!

For the other chores wives are made for, the vacuum cleaner actually is very dangerous device. There are known incidents where permanent injury and castration happened when using vacuum cleaner as a pleasure device.

I clean my house myself. After my girlfriend attempts to clean, my house looks like grenade exploded there. After she accidentally set things on fire two times.

Guys, should I buy a vacuum robot for my wife as a gift for X-Mas?

Yes of course because it will be X-Mas's most expensive gift to him Because every girl wants someone to help with the work. The vacuum robot will speed up your work.

Actually, it’s not so important which model you choose. I think you can order something cheaper. At the same time, it will have the same characteristics. I do not advise buying expensive models. Look at something cheaper. My father has 2 big dogs in his house and his old cheap vacuum cleaner does a good job

know what?i think your floor mat is what you need to change and not the vacuum robot.carpets are not advisable for inhaling as they are storing too much dust and kind of so why not consider changing the carpet to other kind?

I was in a dillemma if it is a good purchase to buy a vacuum robot machine.
In Spring I bought a Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Robotic Cleaner and I am pretty amazed from the job it is doing...

Guys, should I buy a vacuum robot for my wife as a gift for X-Mas?

If your wife is bored doing the household then I totally recommend you to do it. You can find a great vacuum as the Xiaomi that I talk about above with $280 which is a decent amount of money for the cleaning that it is doing.
