The icon is not lit up and won’t do anything atm ..I prob do need to update. Going to do that now. Thx!!

Here you can see the on-chain address of the channel. No transactions were sent from it. Once you update your wallet, you will have to wait 144 blocks (~1 day) as stated in the image you posted.

It’s syncing now and taking its time at that, but this looks to quite possibly be the issue. I did say I’m no Mr Robot right? Lol Wow I’m a fool. It’s my old phone and the battery sucks so when I use it I never update anything as it often crashes the battery and I’ve been too cheap to buy a new one. Thanks guys , you’re all awesome!! Will update thread in 144 Smiley

I've used "Settings (the 3 dots at the top-right) > Network Info > RESET NETWORK DATABASE..." a few times, although this was for on-chain transactions that didn't show up as "confirmed" when they should have.

My Eclair (on Android) looks slightly different, I have tabs "Receive", "Payments" and "Channels". Are you using the latest version?

So some funds are avail ~?
It looks like you have 0.00899199 BTC on-chain. In my version of Eclair, I would click "Payments", then the icon on the bottom-right to send it out. Can you try something similar?

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
Have you looked into your history tab to check you haven't been credited those btc and its not just a lgitch saying there's an open channel?.

If it's partly closed, try finding that transaction?

So some funds are avail and some are stuck ? I can’t see anything that allows me to send coins out. Help is much much appreciated!!

Can you tap on that channel and look for any refund related values? You should be able to see refund delays for remote and local uncooperative closes, and the block height after which the closing transaction will be broadcast.

Edit: I haven't seen the second image. Give me a minute to examine it.

A couple months later I’m still stuck. I tried waiting a few weeks , wasn’t closed, so gave up on it until now. Here is what things currently look like ( https://imgur.com/a/G2RDLnL ).

When it does come back, pretty easy to move it off ?

Yes, the remaining coins minus closing fee will be credited to your Bitcoin on-chain address. You will be able to move those coins easily. You should be able to see the remaining amount of blocks if you click on the channel. A block is mined approximately every 9-10 minutes.

Thanks and thanks again y’all!

Usually funds get stuck for 48 hours and then come back to you.

Actually, it's not that simple. In previous versions of Eclair Mobile, the default value was 144 blocks (~1 day). However, since Eclair Mobile introduced payment receiving, this value has changed. Refund delay for local uncooperative close is 720 blocks (5 days) and 2016 blocks (2 weeks) for remote one. If OP enabled receiving payments over the Lightning Network then he will have to wait 5 days; not only two.

Edit: This only applies if the other party is offline for some reason.

I’ve had it on there for months, so a few more days won’t kill me.

Thanks everyone!!!

Afaik, there's two types of closure: voluntary and forceful - forceful ones take longer and its where the other node doesn't comply with the closure or doesn't respond. Usually funds get stuck for 48 hours and then come back to you.

Do as loyce suggests, I've done it before.

Are the coins still on your side of the channel? In other words: when you click Channels, is there a balance under "Total can send"?
If so: click the channel (the one with the green word NORMAL), then CLOSE CHANNEL.
There will be a on-chain fee, and although I haven't tested closing a channel, this should work.

I was talked in to moving some coins in to someone’s channel (to test and play around with) and now they apparently don’t want to help me take them off. I am no Mr Robot, so I don’t have a clue how to move them off the LN. If anyone is willing to help, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks.
