Good day crypto miners, have any of you guys order for graphics card on aliexpress? How is the experience? Since scam is all over the internet this days I don't want to end up losing some money, I want to buy some gpus and start mining crypto in my basement, thanks
I would be skeptical about ordering anything from sites like aliexpress (never tried though. It is China based I guess). Their offers are sometimes too good to be true and looks dodgy. Probably selling some random Chinese clone GPU. Have you heard of Wish.com? Lol, they sell fake products too and people actually buy them thinking they got a bargain!
You will find a lot of youtube videos where people order from wish.com for fun.
Why don't you look for used GPUs in Ebay or other marketplace?

Never heard of people ordering cards off Aliexpress. Aliexpress is good if you need some iPhone LCD replacement screens but for actual computer parts I rather just use eBay or Craigslist.

Last I heard you need to becareful ordering high end GPUs on Aliexpress like the 1080Ti because they might be fake. Do some googling and there is a thread on some hardware website about some gamers getting scammed.

Just go to Craiglist and search for any RX 470/570 GPUs which are 8GB and pay no more than $125 for each. They are pretty efficient even today and you can always resell for gamers in the future.

Take a look at this 2 links: here and here

This is just 2 examples, thousands of cards sold by sellers, these cards are 2nd hand cards from China mining rigs, and it's very popular in my country because it's way cheaper than used ones we have in our 2nd hand market
Some of these cards have problems with the fans, but it's cheap  Cheesy
As I said before, I already bought one, very used, not damaged, but very used (better to change thermal paste, clean and maybe do some maintenance on fans)

Those prices are almost same as new cards, why would you pay so much for used cards

I already bought and in my country people are buying because it's a cheaper way to mining or to have a pc gamer
The most obvious and best choices are RX 470 / 480 and 570 / 580, you can buy of a seller that have +100 itens sold, it's not hard to find and Aliexpress have a protection for customers

Now you have to think if this is what you want, because their cards are all from mining rigs, and it's used for long time 24/7, maybe it's better to look another used stuff, from gamers of your city for example

I'd buy second hand GPUs in your local area instead buying from Aliexpress, it should be cheaper and safer
}
I've compared prices in FB marketplace and Aliexpress and in some cases local are cheaper,  but they are very rare.
