Thanks to all who have offered advice on this. I don't think it was a moody site, however, if I have lost it then I've lost it. Never quite sure who to trust.
Thanks again.

Hi everyone  I am a new to this forum and really don't know a whole lot about how the crypto's work. However, I have tried to get my bitcoin cash from Blockchain.info wallet and in doing so it appears to me that I now have zero in my account. I started with 0.4 btc . My transactions simply state that my original amount (0.4) has been sent to a wallet address along with the bcc I was entitled to.
I haven't done anything else so is there something I should do to recover the bitcoin from this other wallet please Huh  Any help would be greatly appreciated , I'm just hoping I haven't been scammed !

You should've emptied your bitcoin address first before moving your bitcoin cash or move the bitcoin to a different address. Did you double check it ? Go check your bitcoin cash address on blockchair paste your address on the search bar you should see the current balance of both bitcoin and bitcoin cash.

I have a small amount of bitcoin cash on my blockchain wallet but I haven't used the new feature yet.

There's something wrong in the process of claiming your bitcoin cash. Your 0.4 bitcoin shall remain while producing another 0.4 BTC are you sure by the time of hard fork last time, the amount is already there? or you just sent it and hopes that you can claim it later on? The best thing that you can do now is to ask the support of blockchain.info so that they can review the activity on your account.

You lost your 0.4 bitcoins along with the bitcoin cash equivalent? Are you sure you didn't use a phishing site? I've heard people have been getting phishing emails purporting to be from blockchain.info regarding claiming bitcoin cash but haven't received any myself. If the bitcoins have been sent to another address not in your control you won't be able to restore them via the seed or any other way unfortunately.

I have received an email from blockchain.info regarding on claiming BCC. If this is the email that some of you received especially op, Then its not a phising email as verified by Sir OmegaStarScream but still always check the sensitive information such as what site did it redirect you etc.

I have received an email yesterday from Blockchain.info, they officially support BitcoinCash now but from what I understood, this option is only available for those who had bitcoin at the time of the fork so If you didn't have any and you just want to store BCH somewhere, you should go with ElectronCash, BTC.com, Exodus etc.

Blockchain's transactions are irreversible and final once it is confirmed it cannot be reversed so consider it lost if you can't see your coins in your wallet. And also blockchain.info most probably didn't scam you, there must have been a security flaw on your side like what hilariousetc have said, phising
