So can I get my BTC back by logging into mainnet?
No, you can't get back test net coins to main net. If you are wondering that's possible then you are wrong. I think you already got your answer from here especially from Heisenberg_Hunter explanation. I am assuming someone trying to make you fool or you got scam (if you paid someone for test net coins). Your testnet balance can't use anywhere, isn't sound like just for "test"? However, as other already said, it would be more better to explain you if you expose whole story how you have got that coins.

All is clear now, OP have Bitcoin on test net, that has zero-value.

To help OP understand his situation better, I gave the image. I believe OP see the notification when setting testnet wallet up (but maybe he did not remember).
The Legacy wallet address (on test net) will be like this. On the tab header of the wallet, you see: Electrum 3.3.8 Testnet. It emphasizes Testnet.

See Bitcoin Testnet. Activate, experience it, but don't trade and get scammed.

They are not BTC, they're testnet-coins.
Exactly.  There is nothing to recover here.
You can just play around with this high amount test net btc, but they are worthless.

Just a quick guess, has somebody sold you a bunch of "BTC" for cheap, but somehow convinced you to use a client in testnet-mode sometime in the past?
If so, you might have been the victim of a SCAM.

Most probably a scam.
Please give us more information so the user who sold this coins to you will be properly tagged and we can open an scam accusation against him (or his website) so he doesn't scam anyone else so easily (at least here in this forum)

SO much wisdom here thank you friend.

So can I get my BTC back by logging into mainnet? Where do i do that
//

Can you tell us if how did you get and received your BTC to your wallet?
So that we know if you have mainnet BTC or the testnet coin?
Did you send the BTC under that testnet address?

Adding more info about where did you get your BTC will help us to know if your BTC is on the mainnet or not.
If it just a testnet coin o_e_l_e_o  is correct so there's no way to send it to mainnet wallet.

Well, not those BTC that you may be shown in your testnet client.
They are not BTC, they're testnet-coins.

So can I get my BTC back by logging into mainnet?
No. There is no direct link between testnet BTC and mainnet BTC. Owning coins on testnet does not mean you own an equivalent amount of coins on mainnet. Further, testnet coins are worth nothing.

To log in to mainnet with Electrum, you need to remove the --testnet startup option. Which operating system are you using?

Head to Electrum in the Windows Start menu (if your windows user). there you should will see a shortcut with testnet and another one without open the one non-testnet client.

The above addresses are related to testnet addresses. What it has to do with mainnet addresses which starts with 1,3 or bc1?  Huh

Testnet private keys starts with character 'c'  Are you trying to send bitcoin from mainnet to testnet wallets or the vice versa? Either of them is impossible to do so as both have a separate chain and note that Testnet coins has no value in real world!

Privkeys with uncompressed pubkeys start with character '9' and Privkeys with compressed pubkeys start with character 'c' which is the one you have mentioned!

I have seen this error with altcoins before or trying to send to a NON Bitcoin address.
This. If you try to send btc from a mainnet to testnet or any other non-bitcoin addresses you would encounter this issue. See this issue : "Pay to" in "Send" tab detects invalid address: Invalid Lines found #3427

2. How do i import it to use it?
You should have accidentally logged into a testnet wallet and should be having this problem.

3. Is there anything i can do? I suspect its a virus maybe?
The issue is not related to virus. Rather you should be logging in a mainnet wallet and should sweep the coins.

P.S Never deal with newbies/forum users who ask for private keys in PMs or trying to assist you through PM.

I have seen this error with altcoins before or trying to send to a NON Bitcoin address.

Double check the address your sending to is also valid Bitcoin address.

Some steps you should take if the above is not correct.

1. Backup your wallet file make a copy of it and put it somewhere safe.
2. Open your wallet file > new/restore and and recover from seed and try again.

Please report back once you have checked the above.

The keys are Pay To PubKey Hash (P2PKH}

Also make sure you only download Electrum from the OFFICIAL source

Stultorum infinitus est numerus
Are you sure you are using the correct version of electrum?

Is the error "Invalid line" ?

1 - You need to answer my question above.
2 - Electrum has sweep function.
3 - Answer my question above, not a virus.

Hallo

I have alot of BTC stuck in my electrum. When i try to send, I get an error "not valid line".

When I want to export my private keys, it looks like this:

n2VNuEYFAez1sxt3BnQFHB8dsFbsq5iLR p2pkh:cNoMrMo7EXASV2j3ggUCnFWXrcTryUsTmJyt21tn1114VNqzjs

moD8GJifDAZDAYQ1H4fBtoSwvUWcLqnXt p2pkh:cR8zQwJ4Dz5AtvZnW6dqKkiSRoJWXXfPtFE4UvsNc2Zwx8Bav2C

(I CHANGED SOME DIGITS)

I Have the seed aswell.

Questions:

1. What kind of private key is that?
2. How do i import it to use it?
3. Is there anything i can do? I suspect its a virus maybe?

Ill give 1 BTC to anyone who succesfully help me.
