Sorry to hear that Netteller are being dicks... Undecided Bitpay are pretty legit tho, they should refund it back to you (probably minus a transaction fee Roll Eyes)

Don't pay... just submit it to ViaBTC TX Accelerator... it's quite difficult these days, you have to do it within about the first 5 seconds (yes, seconds! Shocked) of a new hour... so xx:00:01 etc...

They only provide 100 slots per hour and there are still around 100,000 unconfirmed transactions in the mempool... so don't be surprised if you get "submissions beyond limit" error if you are a bit slow Wink

I'll try and accelerate it in about 35 minutes when the hour ticks over and update how I get on Wink

EDIT: "Acceleration Succeeded" Wink Your transaction *should* be included in the next block (or 2) that ViaBTC mine... hopefully this won't take longer than an hour or 3.

Wow, thank you very much. That was really nice of you to actually do it yourself. Transaction was confirmed 4 hours back, I'm sure it was the accelerator. Love this forum already, people are smart, serious and really nice. Thank you HCP. But there's no happy ending, the payment was for Neteller, although Bitpay has confirmed the transaction Neteller has declined the deposit and it says transaction has expired. Ive emailed both of them and there's no reply. But if bitpay refunds bitcoins ill actually gain from it as prices have gone up Smiley

Your fee is a bit too low but it don't should take much more from now, wait a little more and you will get the payment.

I regret my low fee gamble Smiley I tried adding extra fee but CPFP wasnt possible as I'm the sender. There's no other option on mycelium.
Yeah mycelium somewhat offers limited option. Tried rebroadcasting the transaction? If this doesn't work then probably you would have to wait for about a week or so until the miners are ready to accept transaction with such low fees or until the transaction expires (which might take about a week) and the money would get back into your wallet. Generally private pool accelerators work fine they charge a small fees but its worth spending such fees.

Yes I rebroadcasted the transaction, and how do I pay extra fee to private pool accelerators?

I can understand your pain as I was also in a similar situation in the past but it never took more than 2 days for me as I've always sent at economy in mycelium with medium fees. Never try to gamble with that, especially when you're doing an important transaction.

Thats a quite low fees. Try the various transactions accelerators if they don't work then all you can do is wait for sometime. Usually transactions which keep on lingering in the common pool end up being canceled. You can even try rebroadcasting transaction. I haven't found any option to delete it on mycelium nor can you send it again  with high fees because mycelium doesn't supports it. All you can do is wait I think.

Don't worry. Your transaction will be confirmed shortly.

I really hope it does, but how? Smiley

Will it usually take longer then three days for it to get cancelled?
Well, your wallet should allow you to spend again once it (and a large enough amount of the network) has forgotten about your transaction.  It's not simple, but eventually it will most likely happen.

IIRC, the default setting for a Bitcoin Core node to drop transactions from their mempool is two weeks.  However, each node has their own mempool and can choose whether to abide by the default.

It's still possible that your transaction will confirm anyway though - 27 satoshi/byte is low, but it's not insanely low.

Hey, thank you for the reply. I came across this suggestion on this forum yesterday, I've tried it twice already, but the fee is really low for anyone to accept. Will it usually take longer then three days for it to get cancelled?

Hi Santosh6, first of all welcome Smiley It's no big deal so don't worry, your transaction should be confirmed sooner or later. If you want to speed up, you can use the following site https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ so try here. I did not use it personally so i cannot comment but it should be ok since it's well known pool.

Hey, my bitcoin transaction is stuck from 3 days. I sent btc with really low fees from mycelium, I usually use normal or priority but the I chose low fee this time coz I didn't have enough funds in my wallet, like a fool. When searched through hash bitpay explorer says transaction not found, but blockchain.info shows the transaction. How do I recover these funds?
