My observations in a brief hour or so is that this is not a forum to help people, but a gossip shop for geeky insiders.

I found this a great forum to help me out when I first got into bitcoin. Most members here are very helpful and will try to steer you in the right direction. Sure you have to wade through the FUD, but If it wasn't for this forum I likely would have given up on bitcoin.
I've been posting here since mid January and I'm still getting more and more involved in the forum. It has many great sub forums and many great users.

Lots of useful information in there.

Welcome! This place can seem unfriendly at first for sure. Spend some time reading the wealth of knowledge and you will learn a lot.
If you are looking for help, there's plenty to be found around here. If you are looking to gossip you can also do that in certain threads here as well. There is pretty much a thread for everything btc here. If it's not btc related then you will find it in off topic
Please first observe that there are many sub-sections in this forum and you are keep posting in a wrong one
