You can try copying the 1750 MHz timings in both sets of straps to the higher frequency timings. A better way for most cards is using the Polaris Bios Editor v1.62 'one click timing patch' on the original Bios. PBE automatically detects the memory type and v1.6.2 applies the bundled performance straps to the 1750 MHz and up timings. The current v1.6.7 adjusts the 1500 MHz and up timings, but the 1750 MHz straps are more stable for most cards.

I did that but didn't improved much. I manually edit the bios again and it reached 27.5 when I know RX 480 can reach +29

stability is more important than hashrate
do not run for higher hash rates but for running time by keeping it stable

Hi,
I'm trying to overclock my sapphire nitro radeon rx 480 8gb to achieve greater hashrate than the current 23.5 I got.
I followed the steps I did to overclock my nitro+ 470 8gb (used Uber-Mix timings) but I now found 2 groups of timinig straps on Polaris bios editor.

https://imgur.com/a/0Nz5S

I copied the timings to the 1st group, didn't change anything. The same if I modified the 2nd group. If I modified both, Ubuntu won't even start X.

Can somebody help me to overclock this card?

Thank you
