Start BitcoinQt manually and let it sync the chain first.

Hi would appreciatte help with an issue,i recently downloaded armoury 0.96,everything appeared fine with the instalation.
I generated a receive address for my first transaction,when checking on "blockchain explorer" i can see transfer is confirmed but not showing in my wallet,transaction was over 36 hours ago.
So i done a test transfer myself for a small amount £5.00,generated the receive address from armourychecked block chain again a few hours later "THE" transfer say confirmed but again nothing in my wallet.
I'm connected and online "green writing"
I have rescanned balance#
rescanned database
rebuild & Rescan database
and done a factory reset
BUT still i have no transaction's  showing
First time user of armoury,first post about armoury but trying not to panic???
I think the coins are out there somewhere.
made an account on pastebin too "BUT" not sure how to get the "log files" to paste up and link too.
