You should use the watchlist instead. When you post, the topic is added to both the list for "new replies" and watchlist. However, you can manually add and remove posts to/from the watchlist, so you can watch posts you didn't reply to, and you can ignore replies to posts you no longer care about.

Its on the bottom of your thread when you click "watch".

Each time someone replies, theres a new response you`ll get a email notification to that threads response. But if you do this I hope to god that you click ignore for some people who do reply frequently on the same thread it gets overwhelming..

No, "notify" does that. "watch" causes the topic to appear on the watchlist once replied to.

Hi,
So I've got a problem. I use the "Show new replies to your posts" page quite frequently, to keep track of discussions. I've posted on several threads that are constantly posted in and it's filling up the page with them, which is really starting to bug me. Is there a way I can remove unwanted topics from appearing in this list?
