The server runs better with the right OS like Suse or RedHat Linux, maybe. You need the right drivers for the hardware.
Use the internal GPU. Maybe the GPU-cards work without driver, only install the amd-sdk, no driver for the cards.
Good luck !

Thanks, i have acquired a copy of Windows Server 2016 and "The Service Pack" from HP wich as i understand should contain all the latest drivers?  https://www.hpe.com/us/en/product-catalog/detail/pip.5104018.html#

That was my thought as well that the board drivers might not be baked into smos as he was trying to keep his OS size down.

Might be a Simple Mining issue

Have you tried installing Windows Server temporarily, updating all the firmware on it, and then trying again?

I have not, but i will try this. Any more ideas?

I wish I could find a BIOS guide.

Alternatively, call up HP support.

Hi, i just got myself a DL580 G7 to use as a platform for my new gpu mining rig, but i can't get more than 1 gpu (rx570) to work simultaneously.

My first guess was that there is a software bios setting for this, but i can't find such?

Any ideas? I'm using SMOS, 1 card works great.

The gpus and the risers all worked well in another system later. I really hope someone can point me in the right direction... All help is appreciated!

My setup
HP PROLIANT DL580 G7 4U RACK SERVER 4x E7-8837, 16GB, P410i/256MB, 2x 146GB, DVD
591205-001 HP DL580 G7 PCI EXPRESS RISER CARD
4x 1200W HP POWER SUPPLY (was planning to use 2 for system and 2 separately for gpu's)
2x Parallel Miner X7 BREAKOUT BOARD ADAPTER (12x 6pin PCI-E)
24x 24 inch 16AWG 6 Pin Male to 6 Pin Male PCIE Power Cable
12x 18AWG PCI-E 6pin to Dual 8-pin Y-Splitter Extension Cable 2X (6+2pin) Cable. 6in each side
12x 008S usb3 riser
12x Gigabyte AORUS Radeon RX 570 4G
Usb with SimpleMiner OS

This is what i found in several manuals, according to this i should get at least 4 gpus running? Is there a way to get 12 (with expansion board)?
