In my opinion this is the best book available for beginners.
You will understand how bitcoin works. It doesn't cover python programming, but it is a must for anyone who wants to have a good understanding
For a good starting point you can look for "Hands-On Bitcoin Programming with Python" by Harish Kumar Garg.

At this junction, expanding my focus towards Blockchain and Python programming are inevitable as such, need good experience forum members to recommend me some good and productive books on Amazon.
