You can also start second PSU by paper clip (shorting green and one of black wires). Add2PSU or dual PSU connector are used for syncrhonized start of PSU's and is prefered way. BTW, using local home wifi connection without any problems.

Yes, I am gonna do it just now. But does that mean that I won't be able to use Add2PSU or dual PSU connector in future ? Do people still use paper clip method ? AND all of my wires are black. Can I use safety pin instead of paper clip ?

I have non modular PSU btw.

Also how do I power my risers ? my riser have a slot for SATA, molex and 6-pin. The retailer who sold me the stuff was using SATA on that same riser.

Do not use WIFI.  There is an excellent chance your rig will never mine correctly if you do not use a direct connection.
That's a misconception. I've heard it many times, but I've never seen evidence of that theory. I have 7 rigs. All of them are connected to the network via the USB wifi adapter. One rig is connected to the network via a direct connection through a cable. I responsibly state that there is no difference. All rigs are stable.

Do your 1050 Ti require 6-pin power connector? If so, it might be okay to use PCIe splitters. The 1050 Ti don't draw much power.

Yes my 1050ti has 6-pin connector. Do I really need a dual power supply connector. Can I just plug the one of PSU to mother boards and use it's 6 cables to power 6 GPUs and use other PSU to power my 6 other GPUs and then put both of their plugs into a surge protector/power strip.

What about USB 4g dongle/stick

Thats almost the same as wifi. Is the service provider reception good at your location?
You can try but as others pointed out, you risk having stale shares / less mining income.

for a few weeks i did using wifi dongle, but in comparison with a ethernet cable, the cable gives much more stability. reason is because your dongle gotta work 24/hrs straight and might disconnect for no reason at times.

Hello guys,

I am trying to setup my first rig but I have run into few problems, please help me :

1. I bought 2 Antec 750W gold PSUs (non modular). How do I run them ? Do you plug PSU directly into the wall or do you use extension or that thing that has many sockets (it's also extension I think). Also, I also don't know how to run two PSUs on single motherboard for mining.

1.directly into the wall or using extensions socket, those both no problem. if 2xPSUs for 1 MB can use a tool add2PSU.

2. Can sudden power out cause damage to my rig ? My town gets no electricity for a few minutes everyday randomly.

2. yes it can damage RIG one of them such PSUs when too often.

3. Can I use USB dongle (4g) or WIFI for internet or it's no good compared to LAN. If LAN is necessary how much data plan is good, how much data will it consume everyday ? Does the connection needs to be 100% constant ? What if the connection breaks for a few sec or minutes.

3. I suggest using LAN, between Wifi and Lan has a bit different in latency.

Also, I also don't know how to run two PSUs on single motherboard for mining.

2. Please tell me how to connect all of the rig with PSU. I have 12 1050ti, a 12 GPU Mora motherboard. 2 Antec Classic Power 750W Gold (non modular).

3. Can sudden power out cause damage to my rig ? My town gets no electricity for a few minutes everyday randomly, I do have a UPS inverter for my home.

4. Can I use USB dongle (4g) or WIFI for internet or it's no good compared to LAN. If LAN is necessary how much data plan is good, how much data will it consume everyday ? Does the connection needs to be 100% constant ? What if the connection breaks for a few sec or minutes.

UPDATE : #1 looks like solved. I inserted a safety pin(which is used on cloths) in 24 pin connector instead of a paper clip and ran the PSU. It worked, the PSUs fan started running. #2 I figured that out and also #4
