Thanks for telling me. I was actually already alarmed because of what my friend told me. Good thing I immediately posted it here or else my friend could have been scammed some more. Shebhas already spent more than $2000 on this. Angry Embarrassed Undecided Thanks again Cheesy Grin
How did she pay the money? I do not think your friend is experienced in cryptocurrencies so her chance might be better.
Let her make scammer think she does not know anything so she can get some personal data from him and then report it to police.

The next time let's remember that Bitcoin is built on decentralization, you do not need to trust anyone to use it.
You can generate a free wallet, there is no fee except when you need to send money "tx fees."

BTW: move this topic to Scam Accusations.

So the trader made her a new account in blockchain. The trader sent both the password and walletId to my friend for logging in but then she is unable to log in saying there was an error.
There is never any legitimate reason for someone else to create a web wallet account for you. So many different types of scam begin this way.

After contacting the trader he said that there is a bitcoin synchronization error and that payment is needed to complete the process. But then I was just wondering, does it really cost some money to sync a bitcoin wallet?
It doesn't. This is an advance fee scam. You do not need to pay money to receive bitcoin.

Also the trader says that another deposit of money should be made because after the said synchronization because it needs the deposit to fully sync the bitcoin wallet because it will only lead to a non spendable funds to the bitcoin wallet. My friend tried to ask the reason for the 2nd deposit and the trader just replied that deposit is needed because the synchronization was done on a different country and location. Up till now I am telling my friend not to make the deposit.
If your friend has already paid the first "deposit", I'm sorry to say that the money is gone. She's not getting it back. All she can do now is not send any more money to the scammer. The scammer will just keep making up reasons for her to send more and more money until she either wises up to the scam or goes broke. At no point will she ever see her supposed "profits". There aren't any.

I am having a hunch telling me that my friend is being scammed.
Your hunch is correct.

฿itcoin for all, All for ฿itcoin.
She has been scammed. Don't send anymore money to the scammer. Let it just be a lesson to you and her.
Someone contacted me a couple of days saying that he lost money in the same fashion. Apparently a third party created for him a wallet on blockchain.com and sent him the login details but the so called profit that was sent to him just disappeared.

Thou the person refused to disclose to me the "profit making" site or person. I think it may be the same scammer

Hi! I am posting here hoping to get some information as well as to get help if possible.

My friend was telling me that someone has been doin trading for her. After the said number of days of trading, the person doing trading for her says that he will send her the profits through bitcoin. So the trader made her a new account in blockchain. The trader sent both the password and walletId to my friend for logging in but then she is unable to log in saying there was an error. After contacting the trader he said that there is a bitcoin synchronization error and that payment is needed to complete the process. But then I was just wondering, does it really cost some money to sync a bitcoin wallet? Also the trader says that another deposit of money should be made because after the said synchronization because it needs the deposit to fully sync the bitcoin wallet because it will only lead to a non spendable funds to the bitcoin wallet. My friend tried to ask the reason for the 2nd deposit and the trader just replied that deposit is needed because the synchronization was done on a different country and location. Up till now I am telling my friend not to make the deposit. I am having a hunch telling me that my friend is being scammed. Please tell me whats going on. Or if you know anything please enlighten me. I am worried for my friend.
