I know that you are looking for other ways than cryptocurrencies but you should consider using USDT also. it is a cryptocurrency called tether but unlike any other altcoin USDT's price is always going to be $1 which makes it equivalent of USD. in other words you can have the same value of fiat in this altcoin and transfer it safely and cheaper internationally.

Yeah that is true. Because this currency in the world that spread has the same value, so that if we have a lot of money and want to transfer then the funds that we get will be fixed and it requires a lot of funds to be able to Exchange different currencies in the country of the recipient of the money we send. So it will be better is we use the bitcoin as means of transfer, in addition to the fee offered very cheap. We also need not fear losing a lot of funds when meukarkan currencies in other countries with bitcoin

If You want to transfer your money from India to other countries then you can use Ek currencies platforms like PayPal, Perfectmoney, Payza, and other are available to do transactions anywhere in the world with low fees. I haven't tried PayPal but I tried Perfectmoney and Payza where I can do transactions with low fees and with convenient.

I agree with Iram, I have tried those options but those are costly, and as I am looking for regular remittance, I can not afford to pay extra fees every time.

Every other way to remit funds from India has huge transaction fees. I have a friend who lives in India and the fees are like anything. For ex: Paypal changes the exchange rate to their own rates which will be like 5-6% of the total funds you want to remit. Similar to others like Payza, Neteller. I suggest Cryptocurrency and bitcoins are way better and fewer exchange rates.  Smiley

Yes agree but still due to having price diffrence in Indian bitcoin price and international price, that is also not preferable.

Hi,

I was working on a project and would like to explore some cheapest ways to transfer funds from India to oher countries like US.

I AM LOOKING FOR WAYS OTHER THAN CRYPTO CURRENCIES.

I can go with national bank transfer and digital wallets like paytm, freecharge. Alternatively I can also purchase amazon like gift cards.

Please suggest me if there are any effective ways to remitt money other than crypto currencies.

You need to input where your funds are currently available. If you have fund in your bank accounts, SWIFT transfer may become handy to you. May I know why you are not considering cryptocurrency transfers ?
Op has already mentioned why can't he use crypto currency for trensfer just above your post. You missed to read it  Tongue
Missing ?
But I do see the he is not suggesting to use cryptocurrency but asking why to ignore the most easiest way of transferring funds. I guess when receiver is not aware of bitcoin/cryptocurrency, how we can use them to transfer. Still, I suggest OP to clarify why ignoring cryptocurrencies ?

since you say you want to do a payment relating your project of yours then you should contact the person or company that you want to pay and then ask them what payments are they accepting.

you'll end up with 5 or more options and then you can choose among those. you can list them here if you like and ask for feedback on each method.

Even I had the similar sort of question in mind if whether is it possible to transfer the funds to USD from India and if yes how to do it and there fees? Also what are the tax implication and is it perfectly fine to do it as per Indian Law?

Also what is the purpose of yours after transfer to USD, are you looking to buy btc from international exchanges or for some other reason?

Yes, buying bitcoins from internatinal market is one reason and I am working on some international projects and to see if I can remitt funds or not is another one.

it depends on what you are planning to do.
all the information you are giving us is that you want to "transfer funds oversees" for that the solution is using bitcoin, it is cheapest because of fees and the most secure because of how cryptocurrencies work and also you wouldn't encounter any trouble with the law because of sending money out of the country.

but if you are planning on sending USD and the amount is high there are different solutions which are not easy nor cheap. for smaller amounts again it depends on what you plan on doing.

As I said above, I am planning to buy bitcoins from international markets and I want to send payments regarding some projects where crypto is not possible.

I don't know any of freecharge and paytm so I would suggest going with Amazon gift cards for sure , It's possible to find sellers in the digital goods section who sells GCs in bulk and with a cheap price (say 7$ BTC for 10$ Amazon gift card) so you will make profit instead of losing while transferring the funds.
