Hey Marvell1, thank you for your insight.
I am already running one r9 270x and using it as my primary display card. To my knowledge i already had the most recent drivers installed for the 270x but went ahead and reinstalled them for good measure, to no avail.

you dont want those driver anyways you want the most current drivers from the AMD site you dont need the disk
if this is windows and you are going from nvidia to ATI you will have to totally clean the nvidia stuff off and download and install the ATI catalyst drivers for starters
