Yes.  Overclocked when I bought it (AliExpress).

Other than the shorted connections its been fine.  Very hot and loud... but that's just Avalon.  :-)

If you cannot access the miners interface you may require a new wrt router

But have you tried resetting it first though?  Theres a reset button that you click on it whilst powering on the miner then the light flashes really fast it should then revert back to the default ip of something like 192.168.1.100  or 192.168.1.101. and reset the wrt router to factory.

I have a spare router here if you need on and i ca send it pre configured for the avalon with cgi miner installed and everything.

I bought a new power supply and nothing, please help . If someone solves the problem i will give pay them 0.5 btc.

Pepo: Have you configured your gateway and DNS correctly?   Try 8.8.8.8 for a DNS server.  (Google's DNS)

got the same problem, only with stratum+tcp. i cant connect to them.
Did you try to use Cex or something http://uk1.ghash.io:3333  or bitminter http://mint.bitminter.com:8332 .
That works out for me.

I have heard back from BTmine and they are working with me to provide the parts necessary to repair my miners that arrived damaged and have impaired function.

It is positive that they are still working with us as customers as they return from the Chinese New Year break.

Yes, I was a tad bit surprised to see such damage but the Avalon was hashing away at about half speed.

It was the original Chinese Avalon power supply 1100w.

Surprisingly I didn't have to replace the power supply only the wires and insulation.  I reinforced the connections in hopes of not having the same short (in the same location) again.

Wow, now that was a couple of major electrical shorts.  Were those the original Chinese power supplies or upgrades?  If your machine is not running right or running at all it is a good idea to look under the hood!

No trying to troll or hijack the thread.

I had found that I was only performing at 100-150 GH/s for about 12 hours.... opened up the box and noted that there was a wee bit of damage.   

Have you opened up your box?

Look at the two (2) pictures of my 230 GH/s Avalon box.  Got it back online running at full speed now.

Thank you for posting this image, let me do some research and diagramming.  This is very odd, you are connected to the pool, there has been one get work request, no hashing, no temp and no fan speeds?

I will write in the morning, with more details and possible solutions.

Thank you for the additional details.  You only want to be connected by one, either Ethernet or wireless, both could cause routing issues! I recommend Ethernet as wireless does drop packets and data.  So disable the wireless, reboot and give it a few minutes to try and connect.

Putty is a command line program that connects by ssh and gives you access to more detailed settings and configurations in your miner.  If you are not familiar with it, don't worry about it at this point.

Just to review some simple background.  Are you running the factory power supplies or have you upgraded?  If yes, to what.  Are connecting wireless or wired.  Can you log into your miner with putty and ssh?

I've tried in like 10 different pools , incluiding btc giuld. It doesnt hash, i dont know what else could be. Thank you

It appears Cgminer is not getting a successful connection to the pool, if it does not connect the program will not start mining.  Therefore you are seeing 0 activity in the API log

Are you attempting a connection this address for slush's pool

or another address?  Have you double checked your username and password

If this does not work, register with and try another pool, such as btcguild for diagnostic purposes.

I started having hashing issues myself with my 230 GH/s Avalon box.  I had thought the issue was resolved but it's not hashing at full speed anymore.
And it's not getting hot like it used to!  The temperature is MUCH lower than it used to be.

I have to go for the night, I will check back in the morning.

What pool are you mining with, does it allow you to set your differential to 64?

You firmware and CGminer are out of date,  Cgminer is not ever trying to connect to your pool.  To start flashing and updating your firmware will help with a lot of potential issues.

Here is the upgrade firmware link

Save it to an easy to find location, ex.. your desktop
Log into your miner, go to the systems tab, backup / flash firmware.
go down to flash new firmware image
be sure keep setting is checked
browse to the file on your desktop
select
Click flash image
and confirm the file is correct, click proceed

DO NOT POWER DOWN OR REBOOT THIS MINER
WAIT AND GIVE IT TIME TO FLASH AND RETURN ON ITS OWN!

Go to CGminer Configuration and verify your pool is set correctly.
Click save and apply

Give it a minute or two to connect, check and post you latest API Log.

Glad to hear you resolved your issues, I mine on BTC Guild with my five avalon clones and all my other miners.  No problems, but it may be worth trying another pool.

I'm running a 230 GH/s Avalon box and had a similar issue.

Unplugged it from the wall for five (5) minutes,
Changed the pool away from BTCguild and it took off like a jet turbine.

Of course your mileage may vary.  Could have just been an amazing coincidence.

On the computer you are trying to connect to the miner from in the ip range 192.168.1.** or 192.168.0.**

What is the ip address marked on the case?

Are you seeing an error message involving "LuCi" or similar.

I will check back regularly as we work to solve this and I am fins with the .5 bitcoin reward after we get you mining, it take a running miner to make money.

ok , i will poste it tomorrow , i have the machines in a subterrain , thank you mtnminer, once the machines are back working i will send 0.5 btc. The internet connection is working fine.
One of the machines doesnt let me enter to the console, it doesnt let me change the ip of the machine, troubleshooter appears when i want to change it.

If he can provide the CGminer API Log it will be easy to narrow down.  The Btmine rigs have been a nightmare, the build quality is extremely poor.  Of the five I own, I have already rebuilt 4 and working on the 5th one.
