I found out what happen: some dushbag chrooted ~/.bitcoin.

That was a fresh install! I know this isn't a problem with wallet.dat, though.

I posted this in Tech support, but got no responses.

I recently reinstalled Linux Mint 13 (Maya) on my main PC, and whenever I try to start Bitcoin-QT, I get this weird error message:
