right, so it just because the network is really busy then at the moment?
ill just wait out and see how it goes! Smiley
thanks for the reply!

No really, it's also because you're using a low fee. 0.0002/kb (or 20sat/byte) is very low. I just saw a tx with 0.0005/kb fee confirmed in 17 hours.
The recommended fee is 110 satoshi per byte according to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ and the lowest I've seen in few days is 60 satoshi per byte.

Edit:
Also the first tx (confirmed now) have higher fee than the second tx. You didn't increase it.

Calm down bro, you don't have to be panic like this. At the moment, most of the bitcoin users are in the same situation as you. The reason why there are many unconfirmed transactions is that Blockchain system and miners have to deal with an enormous number of transactions at present so they can not maintain to confirm all transaction at the same time. You just have to wait, don't worry. You can find this information in many forums and experts' explanations

It's just that you are encountering very bad timing.

The bitcoin unconfirmed transaction queue (aka mempool) is currently reaching an all time high, and even with a fee of 20 sat/byte it will probably take dozens of hours before your transaction gets confirmed. However, it will get confirmed, eventually.

See https://www.bitcoinqueue.com/details/2d.html for a live chart of the queue. Once it gets back to normal your transaction should get confirmed within a few hours or so.

any help or advise with this would be much appreciated im now really stuck

last night i tried transferring from some bitcoinsfrom one wallet to another this being the transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/f3a8e5cb7fd44e94fbc5479e810d282067f5e88ba9ce5f0d38786ed211b56574
after a few hours it didnt confirm so i left it over night and returned to it today once i got back from work still it was unconfirmed.

so i did a bit of research and thought it was possibly something to do with a low transaction fee, im not sure if this was the actual problem, however moving on..
so i reset my wallet Running Bitcoin Core with the -zapwallettxes so that it reorganised it, so i could again spend the bitcoins as they were never confirmed
so i increased my transaction fee to 0.0002 BTC/kb and again sent, hoping this time it would confirm faster.
this is the transaction this time https://blockchain.info/tx/3ef9fb4d5ccece6758f9a74a5138731683b31391961b77f043813f1d5d75174b?show_adv=true
it even says high priority, now i know this is double spending but i was just hoping it would knock the first one back and cancel it or whatever happens when the new transaction confirmed but still none of them are?! can anyone explain whats going on or why this is happening? or what i can do to sort this?!

i have mined the bitcoins myself with slushpool then have the coins sent straight to the wallet on my computer if this helps, im by no means any expert with bitcoin but i know the basics
and also u have used this wallet of mine before without any problems without having to alter the transaction fee, this is the first time ive had any dramas with
