When you are sending Bitcoin to someone, several things can go wrong. One of the most common mistakes is sending to a wrong address. That can happen either due to a mistake by the sender or the receiver of the coins. There are things called clipboard malware that change a copied BTC address to that of the hacker's. Even though someone copies the correct address, that malware can replace it with a different one. If that happens, the sender can end up sending the coins to the wrong destination address or the receiver provides the sender with a wrong address. Either way, a confirmed transaction results in the loss of funds.

Always check the status of your transaction on a block explorer and if it shows a different result from what you see in your client, you could have an easier time to figure out what went wrong. In this particular case, the transaction got confirmed, the receiving address was correct, but the wallet (which has a long history of various bugs) didn't credit the new balance. The simple solution is to switch to a more reliable app that doesn't have those problems.

For future reference, you would do well just to use a wallet such as Electrum from here on and abandon blockchain.com altogether. As you have just discovered, their platform is incredibly buggy and their support are utterly useless. Thankfully you managed to resolve your issue this time, but there is absolutely no guarantee you would be able to next time you an encounter one of the many bugs on their platform.

You should create a brand new Electrum wallet and have it generate a new seed phrase for you from scratch, and then move all your coins to this wallet. The seed phrase you have used to recover your blockchain.com wallet in to Electrum was generated by blockchain.com, and therefore you have no idea how secure or otherwise it is and whether or not anyone else has accessed it.

Check if the address is correct, probably you sent to the wrong address if no confirmation on blockchain.com wallet. If the address is correct, then it would be good to import your seed phrase on another wallet like Electrum to recover your fund.

On Electrum GUI, click on file -> new/restore -> name you wallet and click 'next' -> standard wallet -> I already have a seed -> choose a derivation path -> create a password. Your wallet will sychronize with the blockchain and your balance should appear.

Derivation path to choose
legacy (p2pkh) for addresses that start from 1
native segwit (P2WPKH) for address that start from bc1

Download Electrum from https://electrum.org and make sure you verify its signature.

It worked.  Thank you so much!!

My blockchain.com wallet isn't showing/crediting the fund of a transaction.   somehow my wallet isn't receiving the fund even though the transaction has over 50 confirmations.    I've asked help from blockchain support but their respond was a generic "if the transaction is unconfirmed..."  they obviously didn't  read my original email because it had 15 confirmations when i asked them for help.
Is there a way to recover my fund?  Thanks
