Some companies make big money from cloud mining

U.S-listed bitcoin mining operation Bitdeer booked a gross profit of $10.8 million on revenues of $15.6 million for its cloud mining segment in the latest quarter, the company said in an earnings release on Monday.

The Singapore-headquartered mining firm has provided a cost-of-revenue breakdown for each of its proprietary mining, cloud mining, and hosting segments for the first time, shedding more light on how mining companies diversify their proprietary hashrate to navigate the challenges of the bear market.

When it's a paid service, they are not taking your money and investing it into mining rigs in order to mine for you specifically. This is when maybe the site is legit. Maybe they will use that money for maintenance but how much profit can you expect from there? This is just in case if you find a legit one that actually pays. I heard something about Binance giving out cloud mining which is a paid service but all of them are sold out already.

Other than that, everything you see in the internet related to cloud mining is full of scams. Never trust any of them, never put any money in them, and finally, never expect any profit from them. Cloud mining is not a thing. So it's better to stay away from it.

Hi
How about crepto tab
It is scam???
I don’t think this is a scam, because the browser is working, but on weak processors, mining will give a few cents of profit per day, and a lot of electricity will be spent. Even if this is a working computer, there is little profit here either.
If you are interested in mining on processors, then check out these statistics on popular processors for mining.
https://hashrate.no/cpus
Cryptotab browser wasn't meant to be a scam but if it is then so be it, anything is possible in crypto space, if they aren't paying up it means they are done with been faithful to their users, till this day many new cloud projects are still coming up, not necessarily cloud mining but also cloud storage, I knew like two since 2018 and they are woefully a failure, back to cloud mining, I believe they are all scams.

It's obvious because mining is all about calculations, you need certain hardware to start mining and it will get to a point where they become obsolete, also another factor is mining difficulty, as more new miners are direct to Bitcoin mining it becomes very hard to mine, and also less profitable, so cloud mining is now -99% profitable, how will someone now create a graphical detailed website for cloud mining and you believe them?

Cloud mining is dead since 2018 bear market, everything changed at that time, and Bitcoin became more popular compare to 2013 when it was easier to mine, if you see a running cloud mining today it's either they are on brand new PoW coins or they are scam if they talk about Bitcoin mining.
I don’t think this is a scam, there are many such projects. If a beginner wants to mine, then he needs to master the main thing - this is a mining calculator. If he is satisfied with the profit, then he can install mining on a PC and mine on the processor himself, rather than sharing the profit with unnecessary intermediaries.

Hi
How about crepto tab
It is a scam???
How did you find Cryptotab?
Pretty bad that is a scam they are not paying anymore most of the users who mine in the Cryptotab still can't able to withdraw.

There is a thread here that can prove that CryptoTab is a scam.
Here's the link https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptotab-browser-cloud-mining-still-pending-withdraw-5360756

To mine Bitcoin you need specific hardware like s9 to mine BTC.
If you are planning to buy a ASIC unit please read this  "First time/Small miner reference for getting started."

Hi everyone, I need a cloud mining service that is reliable, safe, and actually pays out. Can anyone recommend one, even if it's a paid service?
I hope you listen to people on her about this cloud mining thing, if anyone is telling you that you can earn with cloud mining today it's a scam as it's not profitable to run any cloud mining business anymore.

Years ago I joined four different types of cloud mining platforms,  one is called Genesi mining and the other is called Eobot, I can't remember the other two anymore, I make some money off them, because they constantly pay out weekly but it get to a point where they said they can't keep running the business because its not profitable anymore.

They closed down and announced it publicly, it shows how true these companies are until they quit, back then it's easier to mine Bitcoin and the difficultly isn't this big, CPu mining Bitcoin was very possible back then, and now outdated Asic miners are kings of Bitcoin miner back then.

We have come to this point where it's impossible for any cloud mining to make money off mining Bitcoin, if you any they are going to scam you, after Genesis mining quit so many new scam cloud mining platforms came up and they scammed a hell out of people.

Maybe you meant Crypto Tab. Just take a look at their Twitter or social media and you'll find so many users complaining that their withdrawal is blocked or something along that line. Some folks also make a thread and ask about it here IIRC, just search them if you want to convinvce yourself further. Even if you can withdraw some money, I'm pretty sure they will never give you full profits, not to mention there is a privacy risk of using them. As mentioned above, most cloud mining or renting service is just scamming you in one way or the other.

^^ ... Yes it is most definitely a SCAM..
What is so hard for folks to understand that only ASIC-based hardware can mine BTC and provided you have very cheap power have a chance of profit?...

Not a chance. For all intents and purposes ALL are scams. Been that way for years.
The 1 or 2 that are not outright scams have a habit of canceling your contract whenever they please...
If this is not a scam, then you most likely will not make a profit after the halving, or you will invest $1000, and your profit per day will be 0.5-1 dollar and will fall every month. You will not get back your investment in cloud mining and it is better to buy Bitcoin now.

Do you know any cloud mining website where cloud mining creator registers on his/her own website and invests own money? You don't know such one because cloud minings are scam or not profitable for you. They put beautiful text to attract your attention, tell beautiful lies to got you hazy and steal money from you.
You can increase number of your bitcoins if you trade once in a while. Absolutely every year, there are many times where you can catch a good moments for trading to buy low and sell high.

To shorten what what everyone said.

1) All cloud mining is a scam
2) There is no #2 see #1

Even buying your own miner and paying to have it hosted is a bit of a risk since fees and rates can change very quickly even if you are under a contract since they always have the 'we can make changes' clause someplace in the contract.

But it's still better then cloud mining, because in the end you still have a miner you can sell.

Like they said most cloud mining sites are scam and some of them are not profitable but if you still looking for some of them I know some sites that actually pays but I don't know if you can make a profit.
Check Binance pool here https://pool.binance.com/en/cloud

Hmmm,
Quote
Purchase Every 1 TH/s:
Cost 5.7600 USD
Est. Output During Mining 0.00000213 BTC * 90 Days

0.00000213 BTC is 5.80 cents x 90  so you pay $5.76 to make $5.22.

The only chance to make a profit would be for the diff to go down by 20%  or else you're losing money.
Btc going up makes no sense as you could simply buy coins.

Check Binance pool here https://pool.binance.com/en/cloud
Other exchange also offers cloud mining like OKX exchange but it is still not worth investing in compared to buying and holding BTC for the long term.

You are going to be scammed brother. Almost 99% of the times. The 1% is that you many not get the expected return

Let me tell you an open secret. Just Buy Bitcoin, wait for the bull run (if you have the patience to wait for the returns from scams due cloud mining then why not wait for the bull run?)
Now is the good time to buy if you haven't yet. Don't wait till bitcoin hits past $70K.

As mentioned above, there's no such thing. There's every chance you'll get scammed with cloud mining.

Maybe you should do some researches about ASIC hosting, there are serious companies offering it. But you need to understand exactly what you're doing, otherwise you risk to lose some funds.
