I gave up on trying to make this configuration work as I read on many sites that it's only possible to get different models of AMD cards to work under windows if they happen to use the same driver which was not the case with my older 4670.

I replaced the 4670 with a second 7790,  both 7790  generate 450 Khash and total system power usage is 300 watts.

thank you for the tips.

Hello I need to know if I'm waiting my time with possible positive outcome.

Hi have Gigabyte 2008 MB with i7 860 processor.

- Gigabyte 7790 OC in PCIe V2 slot
- Ati HD 4670 in PCIe V1 slot  ( set a primary video card in bios )

My OS is Windows server 2012.

I like to mine off the 7790, have not monitor attached to this device. and have my two monitor connected to the HD 4670 for general usage.

In a single card setup mining off the 7790 make the computer useless of anything else.

I had both Video cards install in my computer one at the time

-7790 Catalyst driver version 13.1 SDK 2.8
-5670 Catalyst driver version  11.10

When both cards are my computer, Techpower  GPU-Z reports no OpenCL on the 7790 and the device manager says a problem is preventing the 4670 from working.

Should I keep at it,  can this setup work ?

thank you

Naim
