Thanks, i asked bitmain support and am waiting for them ...

Yes, i followed all guides, but the thing is that the controller type is different, i tried 3 sd cards but nothing.
And i can still log on the miner it seems to work, the controller firmware didnt "break", but after almost 7 minutes the miner crashes and restarts and so on ...

I never thought it was polssible that with a newer firmware the miner wont work as before.

And this means waht we already know: "Never ever change a running system" ;-)

CLEAN non GPL infringing code made in Rust lang
... What can i do?

I don't think you can use any of the SD flashing guides with the Hydro because its a different controller, you'll have to take it to Bitmain...

Otherwise the procedure was: flash the T9+ firmware and then from the ui of that update to the S9 firmware.

If you own a Hydro, don't mess with the firmware. Hopefully, BraiinsOS might eventually add support to it. And i bet the latest S9se or k might fall in the same camp.

Did you follow the guide from Bitmain? The link already posted above by me.

If the led is not flashing or blinking while you are flashing it with SD card it means that your SD card is not detected.

Here's what I think why it's not flashing.

- Possible your SD card is fake and the image you put become corrupted due to fake SD card(Try to replace with original one)
- Or maybe the SD card socket is full of dirt(Cleaning it might solve the issue.)
- Or maybe the file that you download is corrupted(Redownload the file image and make a new control board recovery again.)

Why not try to play the multi-option first under "Miner Configuration" you can find the working mode under this page and set it to "Low Power Enhanced Mode" then test the miner again.

Let's see if it solves your issue.

Shit, i tried the sig firmware from bitmain :-(

First the firmware seemed to work, but after some minutes the miner restarts.
Theres no way it works so i have to go back to the 2018 firmware but as you know its unsigned...

Antminer Hydro from 2018
Control board is completely different, its a BHB57704 V1.0
Also on sticker: Model: S9 Hydro Vers: V1.0010

Theres one jumper jp4, but when set, the green/red leds are on and nothing happens.

What can i do?

Check this thread.
New board should be the same process.

I'm sorry. I wasn't clear. I need to flash a new control board.

Can you still access the control board through browser and IP or you are planning to flash the Control board through SD card?

You can follow this guide below.

S9 series (S9, S9i, S9j, S9 Hydro) Control Board Program Recovery.

You may find  mac os browsers don't do the upgrade.
I have found windows 10 works better  to do the upgrade from then using a  mac os.
