Hi, here is the ERC-20 address of a Binance account on Etherescan.

Now I have 0 clue where these coins are, they are not in the binance wallet...

Could I have send them from BSC chain to Erc-20?

Where can they be and how do I recover them?

Thank you for helping!

I think you should include the detail about from what network you sent that Ocean token. "Because if that Ocean token was sent from the ERC20 wallet address to the Binance Ocean token ERC20 address correctly", I think your ocean token should be in your Binance account right now! just look in the Binance wallet deposit address it has two options for Ocean token it was ERC20 and Bep20 although it was the same address and format, in reality, they are two different chains. and if you sent it from ERC20 to Bep20 address I'm not sure if your Ocean token can be recovered. you better contact Binance support for assistance.

I'm not sure if it is possible to send BEP-20 coins to ERC-20 network. Have you tried switching network? I think the best way to check it is by looking at the bscscan or etherscan to track down where your coins go.

that means you have not yet bridged it. If you wanna convert your asset from ethereum chain to the bsc chain and you must have bridged your asset or at least sending it from binance exchange site with in BEP20 form.
Could I have send them from BSC chain to Erc-20?
You have needed to bridge it or when you didn't bridge it and you will be only sending your ERC20 asset to the another ethereum address and it will never arrive to your binance chain wallet.
Where can they be and how do I recover them?
have you checked your address through this site? https://bscscan.com/

If you have bridged it and then your binance smartchain wallet will able receive your asset.

AFAIK, Binance Wallet uses Binance Smart Chain as the default network. So if you are trying to find your token on ERC-20, you need to switch the network to Ethereum Network.

See the reference for Binance Wallet networks: How to Switch Network.
