I have another question about powering my rig with 2 psu's. I ve read about how to connect raiser and gpu but i'm not sure now. Should i power all the raisers with the "Main" PSU (mobo SSD...) or with the PSU that powers the GPU?

i connected 3 gpus + risers to each psu, and all motherboard connections to one of the 2 psus. that worked fine.  then i tried to connect one more gpu to each psu and since it didnt work i added the connection to the sata power from the psu that powers the motherboard (but then it behaves as if its dead)

both are corsair 80+ gold. and they work fine with 6 gpus, each sata cable connects just two risers.

i saw in asrock’s manual that i must connect the sata power from the board to the psu if i connect more than 3 gpus but that somehow stops it from powering on at all!

How are you distributing the load between your two PSUs? Which connections are sourced from which PSU?

what brand are the powers ? if you are sure that all pci e and risers are ok.
try connecting each sata cable to 2 risers max and 2 pci e 8 pin sata max as well do not connect a chain of 6 sata from one cable.

hey all, im running 6 rx 580s on asrock h110 pro btc plus motherboard, and having trouble connecting the 7th and 8th gpus.

If i connect one of them system is recognizing it as a second integrated motherboard display and then all freezes.

I thought its a power issue (i have two 1000w psus connected) so tried to connect the main psu to the sata power socket on the motherboard but then it wont load at all (as if its dead). can anyone please help?

thanks!!!
